Mostly untroubled in the first half. Made a fantastic stop from Hoolahan's flick. Made another good stop from Howson's shot.
Looked a little off the pace, but was very solid up against Grant Holt, winning plenty of headers. As ever, he was also a threat going forward, but only really had one opportunity: a flicked header that looked to be heading wide before it was cleared by Holt.
Allowed Snodgrass to turn past him easily. Backed himself into the corner on occasion as he was unwilling to use his right foot. Improved a lot as the game went on, making good tackles and clearances.
Looked comfortable alongside Samba, though Hoolahan playing in behind Holt was causing a few problems.
Some good early harrying on Pilkington. Was a little bit wayward with some passing, and occasionally got beaten, but is starting to show some of the potential expected of him at Manchester United.
A constant thorn in the side of the Norwich defense in the opening stages. Typically flamboyant footwork was backed up with some dangerous, if inaccurate shooting. Clearly a step above in terms of quality, but couldn't make it count, with his penalty miss the low point for the hosts.
Booked after twice pulling Norwich players back in the first half. Inches away from scoring the opener in the second half, but couldn't get a touch on the ball despite his despairing dive. Was replaced in the second half.
Looked lively on his debut for the club, giving Russel Martin trouble at right-back. Consistently looking to link up with Taarabt, but also got back to cover as well.
His dallying on the ball got him into trouble, losing it on the edge of the area to Bennett. Made amends by running almost the length of the pitch to win a corner. An ineffective performance, though.
Deployed in the striker's role, he had one effort of note after being found by Taarabt, but his shot across the face of goal didn't find the corner or a teammate rushing in to capitalize. Worked as hard as ever, but couldn't find a cutting edge.
Was untested in the first half, but wouldn't have got to Taarabt's shot that crept past the far post. Gave away a penalty after tripping Mackie, but made up for it with a great save low to his left.
Struggled to deal with Townsend. Didn't get forward much, but when given time and space he picked a poor cross.
Not the strongest defender with the ball at his feet, opting for hacked clearances. Took a blow to the face that required treatment. Was harshly adjudged to give away a free kick late in the game.
Booked, but otherwise had a pretty comfortable day. Wright-Philips was not up to much in the first half, though Townsend did cause a bit more trouble when he switched to the right.
Didn't have too much to do in the first half, but cleared well with his head, and also hacked clear when he had to. Booked for a cynical tackle on Mackie that would have been more fitting at the Superbowl this weekend.
Had a pretty inauspicious 24 minutes on the bench. Fabio got the better of him before he departed the pitch, heading straight down the tunnel.
Turned Traore easily to set up a chance for Hoolahan. Had a couple of headed opportunities in the first half, but couldn't get much on the first and put his second straight at Cesar. Set up Hoolahan again, but Cesar was again in the way. Was Norwich's main threat in the second half, and had a long-range effort tipped wide by the keeper.
Kept it simple, screening the defense. Taarabt got the better of him in the opening stages, but he kept pretty tight on him thereafter.
Solid performance in the center of midfield. Made some good blocks, but also a poor challenge that got him booked. Showed some nice feet as well.
Blazed over from point blank range, but was offside anyway. Constantly played short, sharp passes but couldn't unlock the defense. Almost grabbed the opener, but fantastic reactions from Cesar denied him after a flick.
The striker's hold-up play was great, but he didn't get any clear opportunities at goal. Earned plenty of boos from the home fans for his style of play, but won't care.
