Was a little out of sorts in the opening stages but recovered and defended well for long stages. Didn't quite get as forward as much as he would have liked when they were down to 10.
Played well, putting in a couple of good crosses, but his shooting wasn't quite up to par. Had to be replaced with a little under 20 minutes to go.
Dealt pretty well with Pogrebnyak for long stages, but lost him for the goal.
Defended very well, making some good interceptions and preventing Pogrebnyak getting the ball when running into the channel.
Had plenty of shots, but never really troubled Schwarzer as he elected to place them all, but couldn't get enough power on them. Should have passed more when teammates were in better positions, and lost the ball too often late in the game.
A poor game from the captain, and the fans let him know it when he hit a free-kick over everyone and out for a goal kick. His passing was wayward.
Was impressing on his debut, but soured things immeasurably by picking up a red card before halftime.
Was forced into central midfield following Diakite's red card, and did well. He spread the ball nicely out to the wings and really battled when making tackles. Missed a great chance in the last 10 minutes.
Got the better of Hangeland on a couple of occasions in the air, but truthfully he played in the big defender's pocket for most of the match. A disappointing game against his former employers.
Had one effort that came close, dragging across the face of goal. Put in plenty of running but didn't really get time on the ball once they went down to 10.
Made a fantastic double-save to keep the scores level in the first half, and looked to get a glove on Wright-Phillips' effort late on. Great contribution.
Got wide well and did his fair share of attacking as well as his defensive duties. A good performance from the right back.
Formed a solid partnership with Hangeland, and dealt well with Zamora.
Got forward well in the first half, putting in the cross for Andrew Johnson's ruled-out opener. Made some good tackles in the second half and some vital clearances.
Controlled the midfield well, especially following Diakite's sending off. Got things moving quickly and the 10 men of QPR chasing the ball.
A delightful back heel to set up the opener. He played well, with some nice footwork in a deeper role than he is usually employed in.
Full of running but wasn't quite as effective as he has been in recent weeks. Still a good performance from the American, looking dangerous and holding the ball well.
Some fancy footwork kept him one step ahead of opponents, as he was fouled for both of Diakite's yellow cards.
Did well with his goal, rounding Kenny easily to open the scoring. Was kept fairly quiet afterwards, but expended lots of energy.
Played some very clever football, winning plenty of corners for his side. A typically high-energy display from the striker.

- 14 P. Senderos
Came on and marshaled the midfield well, keeping the ball popping about nicely.
Played some decent passes when he came on, and should have made it 2-0 after a late drive through the center brought him one-on-one, but crashed his effort wide.
- 21 K. Frei
Came on and kept the ball nicely, running down the clock and passing well.
