  • Benfica are decimated. Porto will go third-place Pacos de Ferreira knowing victory will guarantee them the title. Benfica can only hope. That's all from me. What a night.
  • 90' + 5'
Free kick to Benfica just inside their own half. They'll throw it forward. Last chance. No! That's it! Incredible, Porto have done it right at the death.
  • 90' + 5'
We've had our four minutes. Its' mayhem at the Dragao.
  • 90' + 4'
    Yellow Card Helton
  • 90' + 4'
As it stands, Porto have leapfrogged Benfica and are now one point clear with one game remaining. This will be Benfica's first defeat of the season.
  • 90' + 3'
The fans are on the pitch. The police are too, desperately trying to clear them. Benfica can't believe it. It's crazy out there. Porto have done it.
  • 90' + 2'
    Goal Kelvin
  • 90'
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! Would you believe it??? Jorge Jesus falls to his knees. Kelvin got in on the left and volleyed his low shot across goal an inside the far post.
  • 90'
    Four minutes of added time.
  • 88'
Martinez finds space but give it away when he could have played in James. A huge groan rings around the stadium. Time is running out for Porto.
  • 87'
James Rodriguez was clearly offside there, for what it's worth. Blimey, imagine the fuss if that one went in.
  • 86'
    Yellow Card Artur
  • 86'
Everyone's on their feet now. It all comes down to this! Five minutes left.
  • 85'
    SubstitutionOla John Pablo Aimar
  • 85'
    SubstitutionDanilo Liedson
  • 83'
That was it! That was the chance. That was the title. James Rodriguez drifts in behind and has only Artur to beat from from just inside the area, but he drags his left-footed shot wide of the near post. Huge chance for Porto.
  • 82'
Ola John goes down with cramp. Porto cry gamesmanship. Liedson about to come on for the home team, who desperately need a goal.
  • 80'
    Yellow Card Steven Defour
Defour harshly booked as Ola John chips the ball right at his arm from less than a yard away. Although, he probably shouldn't have had it hands up there in the first place.
  • 80'
Oscar Cardozo takes a very smart free kick. going low and around the wall to have Helton scrambling to turn it behind for a corner.
  • 79'
    SubstitutionLucho González Kelvin
  • 77'
Young Kelvin is about to come on for Porto. What a name he could make for himself.
  • 75'
Porto have seen over 2.5 goals in their last 6 matches against Benfica in all competitions, say the wonderful Benfica have scored at least 2 goals in 8 of their last 9 away matches in Liga Sagres. It's nor over yet.
  • 73'
    SubstitutionLima Ó. Cardozo
Here comes the big man. Could it be?
  • 73'
    SubstitutionFernando Steven Defour
The injured Fernando departs after picking up a knock on his right calf
  • 72'
As it stands, Benfica will host bottom-of-the-table Moreirense knowing in their final league game knowing a win will crown them champions.
  • 70'
Wicked, dripping free kick drilled into the Benfica area from Moutinho but Martinez get just too much on it, sending it up and over the bar when all he needed was to help it on its way.
  • 68'
Well Maxi Pereira can't believe his luck - Varela has moved to the right wing.
  • 66'
    SubstitutionN. Gaitán Roderick
Nope, it's Nico Gaitan who makes way. Jesus ready to settle for the draw here.
  • 66'
    Yellow Card Fernando
Enzo Perez charges forward and is barged off the from behind by Fernando, who goes into the book.
  • 63'
Roderick Miranda looks ready to come on for Benfica, perhaps for Luisao who looks like he might be struggling a bit.
  • 61'
At the other end Ola John works some space on the left before his cross is cleared only as far as Matic. The former Chelsea man fires in a shot but it deflects up into the air and safely into the hands of Helton.
  • 60'
Vareka finds himself on the right this time, running in behind Andre but his low cross is turned behind.
  • 59'
    Yellow Card Nemanja Matić
Lovely little Cruyff turn from Otamendi sees him skip inside Matic and stumble over the big man's leg for a free kick. Moutinho and James Rodriguez work the set piece but James' shot is poor.
  • 56'
    Yellow Card James Rodríguez
James Rodriguez booked for a tackle from behind on Gaitan.
  • 56'
Varela has beaten Maxi Pereira all evening, and now he beats in the air with ease. His header from 18 yards won't trouble Artur, but Maxi can't wait for this night to be over.
  • 53'
Fernando is furious after being penalised for what he thought was a fair tackle, but replays showed he went with two feet. Porto beginning to dominate now.
  • 51'
Varela again teases Maxi Pereira, ducking inside and out before curling his shot wide of the far post from the edge of the box. The Uruguayan is having a torrid time this evening; he needs some help.
  • 49'
Varela ducks inside Maxi on the left and send a dipping, swerving cross that looked to be headed for Artur's top corner before drifting just wide. The ref didn't spot it but that was a very good save from Artur, it was heading in.
  • 47'
Moutinho himself fancies this. Here he comes... straight at the wall.
  • 46'
    Yellow Card Enzo Nicolás Pérez
And straight away Enzo Perez is in the book for a tackle from behind on Moutinho as the Porto man advanced towards goal. Free kick to Porto some 25 yards out, just left of centre.
  • 46'
And we're off, again! This it, folks. It's up for grabs now.
  • Things got a little tasty at the end of the half there, with coaches Jorge Jesus and Vitor Perira sharing some choice words as the two sides when down the tunnel. Safe to say there's love lost between those two,.
  • 45' + 1'
Salvio himself send it in, but Porto clear and that's half time.
  • 45'
Smart play from Salvio to win a free kick when going nowhere on the right wing. Free kick to Benfica right at the end of the half here. Vitor Pereira isn't happy, none of the Porto staff are. Proenca has a word, let's get on with it.
  • 45'
Not having Lucho wearing no.3 by the way. It ain't right.
  • 44'
Enzo Perez and James Rodriguez clash, with neither particularly happy with the other. Perez's tackle was high, but he made no contact with the Rodriguez despite the Colombian falling to floor.
  • 42'
Game heating up a little now as a few tackles start to fly, shame we're just a couple of minutes from the break.
  • 41'
Speaking of whom, referee Pedro Proenca was a pretty controversial appointment for this one, having miffed Benfica with some key decision in the past.
  • 39'
Late and needless tackle from Danilo on Ola John right on the touchline. Wasn't much in it but the Brazilian probably lucky to avoid a booking there. As it was, the ref didn't even give Benfica a free kick.
  • 37'
James Rodriguez and Lucho Gonzalez combine again before the latter is crowded out on the edge of the box just as he was poised to play Martinez in on goal. Benfica will be pleased with the way they've defended so far.
  • 36'
The whistles ring out around the Dragao as Benfica enjoy some possession. Jorge Jesus will be pleased so far but would likely want his side to hold the ball a little better.
  • 34'
Helton isn't a bad goalkeeper, but he really doesn't fill one with confidence. Matic sends a lopping header towards the Brazilian which looked fairy routine, but the Porto goalkeeper makes a bit of a meal of it by leaping back into his own goal and holding the ball outstretched to ensure it didn't go with him.
  • 32'
Martinez drops deep and turns once again but scuffs his shot harmlessly back to Artur. Porto may find some joy running in behind if Martinez keeps creating space like that.
  • 31'
Benfica's midfield happy to sit deep when Porto come forward but they can't afford to give Rodrigurez and Lucho that much space all evening.
  • 30'
Fernando plays a smart ball into Lucho who lays it off to Rodriguez for the Colombian to play a lovely defence-splitting pass for Martinez got just too much on it and it rolls back to Artur.
  • 28'
Porto come forward again and this time Moutingo tries his luck from distance, his left-footed drive forcing Artur into a smart stop.
  • 26'
    Own Goal Maxi Pereira
Goal! 1-1! Alex Sandro played a lovely little pass through to Varela on the left win, whose cross deflected off Maxi Pereira and inside Artur's near post. Game on!
  • 26'
And we're right back down the other end as Lima send a free kick flying in at Helton from 30 yards, but the Porto goalkeeper safely tips his dipping shot over the bar.
  • 23'
Moutinho goes down 35 yards from goal and he'll deliver the free kick... in it comes and it breaks to James - that Ham-ez - who takes a dive. Nothing doing.
  • 21'
In the 2010/11 season, Porto won the championship at the Estadio da Luz, remember. Revenge?
  • 19'
    Goal Lima
GOAL!! Lima! The former Braga man looked offside at first, but replays show he was on after Garay's shot was deflected through to him at the back post for a tap in from four yards.
  • 19'
Well that spices things up a bit. As it stands, Benfica are champions... at the Dragao! If it stays this way, will the Porto ground staff turn the lights out on them?
  • 15'
Stat attack: Either Porto or Benfica have picked up every league title in Portugal since 2002.
  • 14'
Martinez has been everywhere in the opening stages, this time winning a corner from Maxi Pereira but Moutinho's delivery is way too long.
  • 12'
And still they come. Fernando tries his luck from distance but didn't get gold of the shot and it bounces into Artur's open arms.
  • 10'
Martinez latches on to a floating ball and attempts to volley across goal but hits his shot into the ground, it bounces out to the other flank and Varela send it back but it's cleared by Garay,
  • 8'
Benfica beginning to find their feet now and settling down on the ball. Electric atmosphere at the Dragao.
  • 6'
Stat attack: Only twice in the last 30 years has the team on top with two matches remaining not gone on to win the Portuguese title.
  • 4'
Jackson Martinez gets in behind but Artur rushes from his goal to beat the Colombian to the bouncing ball.
  • 3'
Porto on the front foot from the beginning here, they're the ones who have to win tonight.
  • 1'
    And we're off!
  • The teams are in. Porto: Helton; Danilo, Otamendi, Mangala, Sandro; Lucho, Fernando, Moutinho; James, Jackson, Varela - Benfica: Artur, Maxi, Luisao, Garay, Andre Almeida, Matic, Enzo Perez, Salvio, Gaitan, Ola John, Lima.
  • A draw, and we face the possibility of seeing a side go the entire season unbeaten and still not win the league.
  • Benfica come into this penultimate round of fixtures just two points ahead of Porto. The two giants have blown everyone else out of the water this season and, remarkably, are both unbeaten in the league this season - in 28 games!
  • And blimey, they'll be no shortage of action. Benfica's shock home draw with Estoril last week blew this title race wide open and set up what is effectively a play off for the league title tonight.
  • Good evening and welcome to’s play-by-play coverage of FC Porto vs Benfica from the Dragao. My name is Rupert Fryer and I will here to guide you through all the action this evening.
