As always, looked to make an impression on the game but put his side in trouble more often than not. Got away with one missed punch but paid the price for mistiming his jump on the Godin goal.
Beaten in the air for the first goal but the best of the Porto defenders. Almost scored himself midway through second half.
Got forward well and whipped in plenty of crosses. Final ball was consistently lacking, though he did keep Turan relatively quiet.
Drawn into too many fouls once the visitors perked up. Conceded free kick on the edge of the box that led to the winning goal.
Like Danilo, got forward to support attacks well and won numerous corners as he troubled the visitors' back line. Not quite as assured in defense, though.
Provided excellent delivery from set pieces but failed to control the game in midfield as he would have wanted. Substituted midway through the second half.
Direct running troubled the Atletico defense regularly and excellent delivery created Martinez's goal. Booked early on and lucky to stay on the field with constant fouling before being substituted.
Switched from flank to flank but failed to make killer pass when required. Not his best performance by any means.
Kept the ball well in midfield and won plenty of tackles in the first half to keep Atletico at bay. Faded in the second half.
Almost unplayable in the first half and took his goal very well. Faded badly in the second period as Gobin finally got the upper hand.
Missed good chance to double lead late in the first half when firing straight at Courtois. Another Porto player to struggle after the break.
Showed excellent handling and saved well from Varela with the score at 1-0. A spectator at times in the second half as the visitors began to dominate.
Cleared well under pressure in the first half but was turned too often by Josue. Booked in the second period for cynical tackle.
Kept Varela relatively quiet for the whole 90 minutes and supported Turan well going forward. Put in some dangerous crosses at times.
A solid display from the center back. Should have done better with headed opportunity late on but being moved to man-mark Martinez certainly paid dividends.
Lost Martinez for the opening goal and looked out of sorts for much of the first half. However, he came into his own after taking the equalizing goal well under pressure.
Early booking inhibited him somewhat but put in a decent shift regardless. Sometimes wasteful going forward.
Nowhere to be seen in opening 45 minutes other than when he fired over when well-placed. Came to life in the final quarter, though, and took his winning goal superbly.
Couldn't get involved in first half but showed his worth with excellent set pieces to create both goals. Short free kick for the second strike was superbly disguised
Final ball was constantly lacking and missed great opportunity to give his side the lead when Helton saved with his legs. Limped off late on.
Barely caught sight of the ball never mind had a touch in the first half. Substituted at halftime, possibly with a knock.
Worked his socks off in absence of Costa and Adrian. Never really got a sight of goal.
