One of Major League Soccer's rising stars scored another goal and earned his team a late point in a physical game.

CHESTER, PA -- Twenty-year-old Jack McInerney scored in stoppage time to claim a point for the PHiladlephia Union in a 1-1 draw against Toronto FC.

Robbie Earnshaw scored in the 71st minute. The Welsh attacker outpaced Jeff Parke to latch onto a long ball over the top from Ashtone Morgan and finished almost lazily into the far corner of Zac MacMath's net.

The goal was Earnshaw's fifth of the season, tying the forward for the MLS lead.

Morgan went from assist hero to potential villain in the 88th minute. The defender challenged Sheanon Williams for a high ball with his elbow up and was shown a second yellow card.

Jack McInerney earned a point for the Union in extra time. The striker sat unmarked on the back post, and when a loose ball came his way, he struck home in true poacher fashion to restore parity. The goal was his fourth goal of the season, the highest on the team.
