Philadelphia Union 1-0 New England Revolution: Le Toux grabs winner for Philly

Philadelphia Union 1-0 New England Revolution: Le Toux grabs winner for Philly

John Geliebter

A single goal from Sebastien Le Toux was enough for the Philadelphia Union to snatch a win against the New England Revolution.

A single  Sebastien Le Toux goal on the half-hour mark gave Philadelphia all it would need to claim a 1-0 win over the New England Revolution Saturday afternoon.

Le Toux's well timed run was picked out well by Leonardo Fernandes and ended with Le Toux bundling the ball home from just in front of goal.

Minutes later  Diego Fagundez had a glorious chance to pull the Revolution level when he was picked out on the doorstep by Teal Bunbury, but Zach MacMath came up with a massive stop to keep the Union in front.

Just before the hour mark Fagundez tested MacMath again with a drive from distance, but the Revs couldn't find a way through and fell on the road.
