Good performance in the first half. Got a fingertip to Hamsik's goal but could not be considered at fault for the other two goals, with poor defending the prime reason behind them.
Failed to keep Maggio out of the match, beaten on too many occasions. Did not pierce the Napoli defence on enough occasions.
Received a yellow card for a push on Santacroce. Contributed to the rest of his game - playing cautiously - as he did not want to get sent off.
His deflection was enough to clear the ball away from Cavani having a tap-in late in the first half. But made the costly error of not properly clearing his lines when Maggio scored late in the match.
Was shown a yellow card for a supposed push on Lavezzi. Couldn't quite keep up with the striker, as he constantly found space to create havoc.
Workman-like performance for the midfielder.
Looked to be inventive when he freed himself of Pazienza, but it was not often enough as the home side required.
Given his marching orders on the hour mark for a high boot on Hamsik.
Even though he stopped Cavani from scoring, was beaten several times by Zuniga down the flank. Tried in vain to lift his side when pushing forward.
Two good early chances to score in the opening minutes. A wonderfully-timed volley on 29 minutes gave the Gialloblu the lead, but was not noticeable in the second half.
Very quiet and was deservedly replaced by Hernan Crespo.
M. De Sanctis
Made a wonderful save after five minutes, keeping the scores level. Could not be blamed for Palladino scoring, as he was left statuesque.
Provided two quality crosses in the first half for Lavezzi and Cavani to score from. Capitalised on some poor defending from Massimo Paci to seal all three points
Solid as always in defence, not giving anything away. Was shown a yellow card for a handball.
Almost cost his side a goal after only three minutes, when he failed to clear his lines properly. Improved in the second half, as he kept Palladino away from the ball.
May not have had a lot of possession, but played his part in the match, keeping Valeri Bojjinov and Hernan Crespo very quiet.
Helped to link the defence with the attack, but did not stand out. Helped to keep the Parma midfielders quiet, especially in the second half.
Made a well-timed run to open the scoring after the break, and played a wonderful ball for Lavezzi to fire home.
A real constant threat for the Parma defence, as his surging runs were rarely closed down. Was able to get crosses in down the left, and was even involved in a two-on-one counterattacking opportunity with Cavani.
Workman-like performance by the midfielder, as he kept Antonio Candreva quiet. Even had a shot on goal early in the first half, but it was deflected.
Had several half chances to score, but it wasn't one of his better matches.
Played a game of two halves. Showed glimpes of brilliance in the first half, but was well-marked. Came to life in the second half. Scored on his return to the side in the 56 minutes. Also provided the assist for Hamsik.
- 1 N. Pavarini
- 2 R. Feltscher
Hardly noticed once he replaced Modesto.
- 4 S. Morrone
Came on for Bojinov, early in the second half, but did not add anything up front.
Lifted the side upon coming onto the pitch, inspiring the Gialloblu to come back into the match. Had a good chance from a dangerous free-kick, but was unable to find the back of the net.
