Pulled off a stunning save to deny Stankovic in the 29th minute, and did superbly to deny Ranocchia in the second half. Showed superb positioning and agility tonight.
Wonderful performance in attack as he was always willing to help in defense. Found space to exploit and assisted the opener.
Whipped in a superb cross in the build-up to the opener, and was a threat all night down the flank. Unshakable defensively.
Did not hesitate to commit fouls when needed, and generally did very well to neutralize the threat of Eto'o. Was unbeatable in the air.
Rarely troubled at the back as Nagatomo was pretty quiet tonight. Linked-up well with Giovinco.
Completely marked Pazzini out of the game. Showed great anticipation and top-class tackling.
Showed some wonderful touches and played a few decent passes. Had a couple of shots wide, but was overshadowed by Giovinco tonight.
Had a great game in the center of the pitch. Tackled hard, and covered a lot of ground. Wasted a glorious chance in the early minutes of the game.
The captain put in a wonderful performance, tackling hard and joining the attack at every opportunity. Had some good chances to score, but his finishing let him down.
Another excellent performance from the striker. Scored a goal and was a thorn in Inter's side. His dribbling did not work out all the time, but his finishing was top-notch. Hit the bar with a wonderful shot in the second half.
Wonderful game by the ex-Juventus man. His performance had everything - a goal, great runs, superb shots, fascinating flicks.
Pulled off some wonderful saves to keep the scoreline respectable. Showed great anticipation, but his delivery from the back was not top-notch.
Was his side's best defender until the 70-minute mark when he went berserk. Almost conceded two penalties and was too slow to react for Amauri's goal.
The defender had his fair share of troubles with Candreva and Zaccardo and was pinned back for most of the first half. Replaced at half-time by Wesley Sneijder.
One of his worst performances for the Nerazzurri. Too slow to deal with Giovinco and Candreva, and poorly positioned most of the time.
The Nerazzurri faithful know there is always one good man on the pitch and that is Zanetti. The veteran did not disappoint tonight, as he defended superbly and covered a lot of ground.
Failed to offer much in attack and was not very comfortable with Giovinco and Candreva running at him. Not one of his best games.
A game to forget for the Argentinian. Chased shadows for most of the match, and failed to exert his authority in the centre of the pitch. His failure to dispossess Amauri for Parma's second goal really tells the whole story.
Looked like a one-man team at times as he hit the bar with a stunning free-kick in the first half and then had a wonderful shot saved by Mirante. Passed the ball well, and did well in defensive sense. Did not deserve to end up on the losing side.
Leonardo's decision to employ him behind the strike pairing backfired. The Moroccan was sub-par, and failed to influence tonight's game in any way.
Very anonymous tonight. Marked out of the game, but in all honesty, he received very little service as well.
Starved of service, and whenever he had the ball he was frustrated by Parma's brilliant defense. Pazzini's passiveness did not help him, either.
- 1 N. Pavarini
- 26 M. Pisano
Had a great shot saved by Julio Cesar in the 77th minute, and was eager to join the attack whenever possible. Superb in his defensive duties.
- 14 D. Galloppa
- 40 N. Obiora
Came on at the death.
Provided the assist for Amauri's goal, bur wasted a wonderful chance in the 92nd minute.
- 12 L. Castellazzi
- 23 M. Materazzi
- 20 J. Obi
Came on at half-time, but failed to turn the game around for the Nerazzurri. He was short of fitness tonight.
- 17 M. Mariga
Came on for Pazzini and had a frustrating game as he failed to put the ball past Mirante in a one-on-one situation.
