The Red Bulls get a home date against Eastern Conference rival Chicago to try and continue their good run of form.
The New York Red Bulls are hot right now, having won three out of their last four games, but will face a tough task in getting another win against a Fire team that has drawn five of its last six.
New York's last loss came April 12, a 1-0 reverse against DC United, but the Red Bulls rebounded with wins over Philadelphia and Houston before drawing with Columbus and then getting another win over FC Dallas. Despite the recent run of good results, the club has just 14 points from 10 games played and sits level on points with three other teams at the top of the East, with two of those team (Kansas City and New England) holding at least one game in hand.
For Chicago, eight games have yielded just six points, with the club still searching for its first win of the season. A loss to Real Salt Lake last time out ended a run of six draws in a row, and the 3-2 result proved once again that the Fire are a tough out this season despite the poor record.
New York follows this match with a tough road trip to Toronto, while Chicago has a home date against Sporting Kansas City after facing the Red Bulls.
