The former Revs star came back to haunt his old club on Wednesday night, scoring twice in an exciting draw.Shalrie Joseph took center stage on Wednesday night when he netted twice for Chivas USA against his former team, the New England Revolution, in a 3-3 draw.
The Revs jumped to a lead inside of five minutes with Saer Sene blasting home from close range, and Rauwshan McKenzie's own goal in the 11th minute put the home side in great shape.
Sene made it 3-0 with a cracker of a goal in the 21st, unleashing a nasty shot from just outside the box that left the 'keeper with little chance.
But Joseph, one of the all-time greats for the Revolution, wasn't about to let his old club off the hook so easily.
Just two minutes after Sene's second goal, Joseph pulled one back in classic fashion, beating several players - including Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis - to the ball and heading it home.
Then, in first-half stoppage time, Joseph pulled his team back to within a goal. His second of the night was a beauty as he curled home a left-footed shot from outside the box.
Miller Bolaños finished off the comeback just after the break by latching onto a second ball just in front of goal and using some creativity to get his foot on it and put it home.
Reis was called on several times throughout the rest of the second half as Chivas USA pressed in search of a winner, but in the end the draw was what both teams would settle for.
