M. De Sanctis
Made a superb early save to thwart German Denis but could do absolutely nothing to stop either goal.
The best of the Napoli back three, was solid without being spectacular.
Crashed a header against the face of the crossbar and offered his usual 100 percent commitment, but wasn't as effective as he can be on the right.
Had a quiet game on the left as Benatia and Cuadrado worked to limit his contribution. Did whip over the cross from which Maggio headed against the crossbar.
The Spanish defender played on the left of the back three and despite a decent start, was sloppy in the second half. Particularly when he gave Denis too much space to rifle home the second.
Uncharacteristically sloppy at the back as he demonstrated poor decision making on more than one occasion. He was too slow to charge down Inler at his goal, while charging recklessly out of position and missing the ball to allow Armero in behind to cross for Denis to score.
Made a bright start, switching play with some raking passes, but quickly faded and was unsurprisingly replaced with Garagano in the second half.
Like the other members of the Napoli front three, he had an off night, and despite one clever angled pass which released Cavani, he offered little in terms of quality.
Was determined to get involved and tried his best to get on the ball in the first half, while breaking beyond the forward to contribute in an attacking sense. But didn't have much of an impact in the end.
Showed little flashes of inspiration but certainly wasn't at his best tonight and struggled to break down Udinese's stubborn resistance.
The Uruguayan looked threatening in the first half, going close with a couple of efforts, but his night ended miserably as he missed a late penalty and swiped at a great late chance.
Made a superb save to deny Lavezzi at a key moment just before half-time and dived to his left to foil Cavani as he attempted to score a late penalty.
Moroccan right-back was always in the right place at the right time, and made several crucial blocks to stop Lavezzi crosses.
Can claim an assist as it was he who strode forward and passed to Inler to score. Worked hard all night and defended resolutely down the left.
An absolute bundle of energy on the left. Bombed forward constantly and topped off an impressive performance with a fine run and cross to set up Denis for the second goal.
Was a rock at the heart of the Udinese four-man defense, particularly in the closing stages.
Was having a solid game until he was rather unnecessarily gave away a late penalty - a foul for which he received a red card - and almost cost his side.
Added real steel to the Udinese midfield, breaking up play with clever positioning while also putting his foot on the ball to dictate the tempo of the game. And that's without mentioning a stunning opening goal.
Was an important figure as he attempted to break forward and support Denis in attack. Showed his fiery side, and although it could've got him into trouble, it was this drive that helped his side to an unlikely victory.
Had to go off after picking up an injury in the 36th minute. In his half hour on the pitch he worked hard and provided a threat down the right.
Was positioned just off Denis, and like Pinzi did his best to support the lone striker. However, he also made sure he dropped deep to add that extra man in midfield to give his side an advantage in the middle of the park.
Lead the line admirably, and looked delighted to have scored the second goal to secure the win at the home of his previous club. Went close early on and demonstrated superb technique to chest down and thrash home in the 61st minute.

Replaced Pasquale in the closing stages as Udinese looked to close out the game.
Made a time-wasting appearance in the second minute of stoppage time.
- 18 C. Battocchio
- 9 B. Corradi
Provided a more defensive option than Isla - who he came on for after he picked up an early injury. Doubled up with Benatia to really shore up the Udinese right-hand side.
