The Montreal Impact continued their hot beginning to 2013 with a 2-1 win over rival Toronto FC

The Montreal Impact continued their excellent run to start 2013, defeating Canadian rival Toronto FC to secure a third consecutive MLS victory and preserve their perfect MLS record

Toronto defender Ashtone Morgan gave away a penalty a half hour in, and Patrice Bernier was cool from the spot to give the visitors the lead.

The Impact doubled their lead in first-half injury time, Marco Di Vaio finishing a slick Montreal passing move with an arced shot inside the box.

TFC pulled one back in the 68th, Robert Earnshaw tucking away a penalty after Terry Dunfield was hauled down in the box for his third strike of the campaign, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback as Montreal claimed a third consecutive victory and the best record in MLS.
