Made a good save to deny Kozak, but was a spectator for the majority of the game.
Bombing forward as you would expect, and thus leaving gaps which Lazio did exploit on their rare forays forward. Hernanes got in behind him and an early mistake could have cost his team if not for Yepes.
Suffered from poor distribution tonight, but his anticipation and tackling were very much in evidence. Silenced Hernanes and proved once more his adaptability when playing in midfield.
Almost scored from a cross, though was barely tested defensively by Sculli or Radu the full back. Supported well in an attacking sense, but his final ball was a little suspect.
Was the weaker of the two center backs, but handled himself well. Brought the ball out of defense expertly too. Taken off at half time due to injury.
An absolute rock. Won almost every header he challenges for, perfect timing in the tackle and covered Antonini when the full back bombed forward.
Spurned great chance early on and had a number of other pot shots which were almost always blocked. Clearly still finding his feet but linked well and was often found in space.
A few shots that were ballooned off target, but found himself supporting the front players a lot and his dynamism was evident tonight. Battled well with Gonzalez and Ledesma.
Some delightful balls from the Swede, but his finishing was woeful tonight, encapsulated by the last minute effort that was blasted high and wide. Hit both posts with one shot, and always a danger as he drifted left.
One of those nights when the ball wouldn't go in for the Brazilian, one cleared off the line and a couple of others blasted into orbit. A little composure wouldn't go amiss.
A quiet evening for the youngster. Dias and Biava dealt with him perfectly, getting close and not allowing him any room at all. Taken off for Cassano on the hour.
Made some good reaction stops, commanded his area well and was one of the key reasons Milan did not take all three points. Came off his line brilliantly to deny Cassano, showing bravery as well to palm the ball away from goal on one occasion.
Another who won his aerial battles. Also helped Lichtsteiner deal with Ibrahimovic.
Endured a tough time with Flamini and Oddo getting forward on his flank, but didn't allow much past him, instead stood off, allowing Oddo in particular to fire in deep crosses. Made some key tackles on Robinho and later Cassano.
Had his hands full with Ibrahimovic but stood up well and forced the striker inside on the majority of occasions. But he was unable to get forward as much as usual.
Excellent in the air dominating proceedings, positioned himself well and didn't allow Pato or Robinho much room to maneuver. A goal line clearance encapsulated a brilliant performance.
Made a few attacking runs in the first half, but his influence waned as the game wore on and eventually he was taken off.
Protected the defense well for the most part, but was caught out of position a few times resulting in a number of Milan long range efforts. His set pieces were not up to his usual high standards.
Completely overshadowed by his fellow countryman Thiago Silva. He did manage a couple of long range efforts but that was about all he did during the game.
He clearly enjoys a good scrap in midfield and he received one with Thiago Silva and Flamini more than willing to go toe to toe with him. Helped out at the back, but as a presence in the middle he was non-existent.
Should have done better, but he never offered too much going forward. Tried, on occasion to test Oddo, but did not do this enough.
Came out second best in his duel with Yepes, but was the only real threat Lazio had. One effort of note was saved well by Abbiati.

His Milan debut didn't last too long as he was taken off five minutes from the end after a clash of heads with Kozak.
- 18 M. Jankulovski
- 35 Dídac Vilá
- 52 A. Merkel
Couldn't find the key to unlock a stubborn Lazio defense. Gave Radu something to think about in the last half hour.
