Live Commentary

  • 90'
Final whistle, game over, Manchester United with a comfortable win.
  • 90'
What a tough game to watch. No Chicharito, Fulham lacking ideas, United sitting back... Boring stuff. Some good moments of course and United showed some great individual skill, but just not good enough.
  • 87'
    SubstitutionNani Michael Carrick
  • 86'
Same story over and over. Fulham just can't break United down. Well done to the home team and this looks destined for a comfortable win.
  • 82'
    SubstitutionDanny Murphy Jonathan Greening
  • 80'
Fulham is on the attack constantly but there is nothing coming from it. There doesn't seem to be much urgency in either side.
  • 77'
    SubstitutionAnderson Fabio Da Silva
  • 75'
Dempsey involved on Fulham's next move, ends with Baird ripping one over the bar.
  • 73'
    SubstitutionAntonio Valencia Michael Owen
  • 73'
Zamora had a look from a freekick and pushed it well wide. One of the best chances of the day for Fulham.
  • 68'
    SubstitutionDickson Etuhu Zoltán Gera
  • 67'
Sloppy from Fulham. Has been all game. That's about the fifth pass out of play.
  • 62'
Gudjohnsen with the hit there, forced a save but he's not given the corner.
  • 60'
Dempsey just had back to back hits. First one blocked, second one blocked out for a corner.
  • 56'
    SubstitutionMousa Dembele Eidur Smari Gudjohnsen
  • 56'
Salcido with a hit there, no power though. Good to see the Mexican international getting in the attack for Fulham.
  • 54'
Not much action to speak of here. United are on the ball but neither side can do much with it right now.
  • 48'
And again Fulham are careless and United are on the break. Anderson forced another save and earned yet another corner.
  • 46'
Back underway, 45 minutes of action left. Fulham still patient in the buildup, but they'll have to pick it up if they want points today.
  • There's the break, halftime in Manchester with United leading 2-0 over Fulham.
  • 45'
Corners are now 6-1 in favor of United. It feels like the Red Devils earn a corner every time down the pitch.
  • 42'
United are living off the counter and getting one-on-one chances to run at defenders. Hangeland stood up to Berbatov there, but the matchups aren't great for Fulham.
  • 40'
Danny Murphy is not having his best night on the ball, that might have something to do with Fulham's woes at the moment. He generally spreads it around to the play makers pretty well.
  • 37'
Now the visitors just look lost. Just looking at it, you'd think United have had all of the game, but Fulham have actually had plenty of the ball, just nothing in the final area.
  • 32'
    Assist Nani
  • 32'
    Goal Antonio Valencia
  • 32'
And there's the second. Guess who? Nani on the case once again. Again he doesn't score but the finish is easy for Valencia after Nani's brilliant run.
  • 30'
Chris Baird on Nani should have all Fulham fans a bit nervous. The winger just dusted the Fulham right back.
  • 28'
Another dangerous corner for United. Smalling on the end of it, deflects over the bar. The visitors better get control of the set plays soon.
  • 25'
United on the break earn a corner and nearly score from it. Dangerous for Fulham to push to high, but the Cottagers don't seem scared to try their luck.
  • 23'
Dempsey with a hit from long range. e pulled it wide left, but Fulham probably won't mind seeing a few extra shots.
  • 21'
Dempsey got involved a bit there, losing out to Valencia but immediately winning it back. Salcido ended up putting in a cross which was easily collected.
  • 15'
Shame for Fulham. They were certainly getting plenty of the game before the goal. Now United have a new confidence about their play.
  • 12'
    Assist Nani
  • 12'
    Goal D. Berbatov
  • 12'
What a goal from United. Nani did the hard part, Anderson helped him on, Berbatov finished it off. Not the most flawless piece of play, and a hint of offside, but none the less Nani just abused the Fulham defense.
  • 8'
Bobby Zamora probably should've put Fulham in the lead. In on goal, plenty of time, goes wrong side of the keeper and wrong side of the post.
  • 6'
Dembele forced a nice save out of Kusczak, Fulham's first real chance of the game.
  • 5'
Keep and eye on Valencia and Salcido, could be a very entertaining battle all game long. So fa Valencia is getting the better of it.
  • 4'
First chance of the game comes from Nani. Nothing much too it, easily blocked, but out for a corner. Fulham get it clear.
  • 2'
Gael Kakuta getting the start on Fulham's right. Rare sighting of the youngster. He's got loads of talent though.

Welcome to live commentary of Manchester United and Fulham. We're just underway. Chicharito is on the bench in a very rotated side for United from the one run out in the Champions League.
