Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini welcomes Mario Balotelli back into the the squad after the striker completed his one-match suspension. He should join Sergio Aguero in attack, as Edin Dzeko started the recent League Cup game against Arsenal. The Italian boss has no injury concerns at the moment.

Meanwhile, Paul Lambert has to make do without the services of James Vaughan and Elliott Ward, since the duo are sidelined with knee injuries. Ritchie De Laet (back) is a doubt for this encounter as he is reportedly yet to return to training following his injury.
