  • 90'
This one looks destined for a draw. Just a couple of minutes left and most of the play is in the middle of the park. And there it is. 1-1, for Mark Hughes on his return to City.
  • 90'
    Three to be added on.
  • 87'
This has turned into a shockingly good showing from Fulham. They've largely dominated and aside from City pushing forward in small waves, they've been the better team. That being said, at no point will any Fulham fan feel comfortable.
  • 85'
    Yellow Card Danny Murphy
  • 85'
Hold that thought, now it's Carlos Tevez drawing a foul and a card out of Danny Murphy.
  • 83'
Gudjohnson and Dembele do well to earn a couple more half chances for Fulham. Certainly it's the road team looking more likely to score.
  • 82'
Dempsey with a chance for Fulham. Free header, seemed to be mistimed and sent wide.
  • 81'
First chance in a while for City. Tevez with a touch at the front post that moves up and over the crossbar.
  • 80'
Damien Duff is looking like his old self today. Fulham can be a very dangerous team when he adds quality on the right.
  • 79'
    SubstitutionAndy Johnson Eidur Smari Gudjohnsen
  • 77'
    SubstitutionAleksandar Kolarov James Milner
  • 75'
Still back and forth. Tevez sprinting to one end, losing out to Hangeland who in return sprints to the other end. Lot's of up and down action, Fulham looking just as dangerous as City.
  • 70'
    Yellow Card Mario Balotelli
  • 70'
Goalscorer on goalscorer and the Italian steps on Duff's foot. He gets a booking for it as well. A bit much.
  • 67'
And my goodness Kolarov just had a go with a dipper from a way out that really looked dangerous but was pushed comfortably over the bar.
  • 66'
Lots of running now from City and they're starting to look like a top four team.
  • 65'
Dempsey has once again drawn a couple of fouls in a short run here. Nice position on the second one could have led to something it Hangeland had been able to keep his feet in the box.
  • 61'
Zabaleta just left Salcido in the dark, and moments later Carlos Tevez has a chance on goal. Fulham are lucky it's still 1-1.
  • 60'
    SubstitutionEdin Dzeko Patrick Vieira
  • 57'
The game is disjointed, almost frantic at the moment. Neither team seems to want ball.
  • 55'
And as soon as you say something nice about the young Italian, he flubs a chance in front of goal.
  • 51'
Bad foul from Hangeland there gave City a chance on the edge of the box, but Tevez blew it over. Balotelli continues to look like a monster whenever he touched the ball.
  • 48'
    Assist Andy Johnson
  • 48'
    Goal Damien Duff
  • 48'
And we're level!! Fulham, a well deserved goal. Andrew Johnson in behind the defense pounds it across the face of goal where Duff is waiting to touch home. 1-1, and game on!
  • 46'
Back underway with City and Fulham. City holding the 1-0 advantage as play resumes.
  • 45'
Just minute or so before the break. City still leading 1-0 thanks to Mario Balotelli and one moment of brilliance. So good things from Fulham and it should be a lively second half given the scoreline.
  • 40'
Another moment of madness from Dempsey. Yaya Toure came in a little hot and Clint grabbed his leg. Little face to face, ref has a word, other players have words, Danny Murphy comes over to talk to Clint. No cards, but the American needs to calm it down before he gets in real trouble. To be fair, he's been fouled twice in a short span.
  • 39'
Dempsey and Barry just had a little after-action conversation. Barry pulled Dempsey down and the American seemed a bit upset about it.
  • 36'
Not much to speak on since the goal. Both sides have had a few touches, nothing that has looked all that dangerous.
  • 34'
    Yellow Card Andy Johnson
  • 28'
Horrible run of play there. Fulham defender Chris Baird leaves a ball for his keeper to pick up, not knowing that there is a City player in the area. And then Kolorov (the City player) smashes it into the side netting rather than trying to swing it across the face of goal. Just bad play.
  • 26'
    Assist Carlos Tévez
  • 26'
    Goal Mario Balotelli
  • 26'
Wow, and it's 1-0 against the run of play. Manchester City have their goal, and Balotelli made it look so simple. Just a simple take at the top of the box, earns a yard and find the corner.
  • 24'
Really, at this point Fulham are looking the better team. Dempsey and Dembele are both seeing plenty of the ball, and for Fulham that's exactly what they want.
  • 22'
And now it's Salcido showing some attacking powers. Nice little move in from the left, cross to the back post in a dangerous spot, but nobody has made the run.
  • 20'
Salcido gives up a foul. He's coming close to the booking, that's his second in a short time. Dangerous position for City as well., but it's put behind for a corner.
  • 16'
Fulham have grabbed their piece of the game now. It's pretty wide open with half-chances popping up on both ends.
  • 14'
Dempsey once again involved for Fulham, this time having a go from well outside the box that missed just over the bar.
  • 12'
Dempsey challenges for a header in the box. Lost out, but a good push forward from Fulham there.
  • 11'
Carlos Tevez just got his first real touches on the ball. Nice run forward but the Fulham defense is strong.
  • 8'
Not much action early on. City have had the better of it to this point, but Fulham have had a bit of time on the ball as well.
  • 6'
Carlos Salcido with a moment of worry there. He's another player with CONCACAF roots that's worth keeping and eye on for Fulham. Dempsey and Salcido are a strong pairing down the left.
  • 3'
Just underway between Fulham and Manchester City. Keeping an eye on American midfielder Clint Dempsey today in the Americans Abroad game of the week. Dempsey has a nice record of getting goals at the City of Manchester Stadium, and he'll be looking to help give current Fulham boss Mark Hughes a bit of revenge on his former club.
