    Tough miss by Lennon and Kane. Bale initiated a great sequence of play, dribbling past two defenders and crossing in the ball to Kane but the young striker's head missed the cross by an inch. Then the ball landed on Lennon's feet but his shot hit the right post.

    Tottenham is showing some fight back now as Harry Kane gets an attempt inside the box. He put a lot of power on the shot but it wasn't precise enough.

    After a slow start, Liverpool is starting to gain a lot of momentum offensively. Shelvey receives a nice pass from midfield and advances taking a shot just outside of goal. Friedel saves but it was still an impressive effort.

    Some nifty footwork by Cole sees him going into the box and making an attempt. Unfortunately, he didn't put enough power into the shot and Friedel easily saves.

    Both teams are a bit more settled now in possession and are knocking the ball around nicely with the Reds seeing a shade more of the ball but are yet to do anything with it.
