FT: LIL 1-3 PSG - a good showing from the champions, who pick up a 3-1 win to break the Ligue 1 points record. They lost Cabaye to injury with Martins seeing red. But Lille, who spurned a host of chances, were ultimately defeat by a score of 3-1.
90' + 3'
FULL-TIME: LILLE 1-3 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
90' + 1'
SIMON KJAER! What a chance, and it's narrowly over the bar. Lille have really spurned their chances this evening. And again, it's an unchallenged effort for the Dane.
Yellow Card Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Assist Salomon Kalou
Goal Jonathan Delaplace
GOAL! Lille 1-3 PSG! YES THEY CAN! A fine finish from Jonathan Delaplace. Marco Verratti is caught dallying on the ball before it goes out. He is dispossessed, and it is fired past Sirigu. Woeful defending.
Yellow Card Rio Antonio Mavuba
YELLOW CARD - Zlatan Ibrahimovic: The Swede is booked for dissent.
Lille have tired, they have really run their socks off tonight, testing Paris Saint-Germain through their feisty counter-attacks. Can they get a goal back, however?
Elsewhere in Ligue 1, Nabil Dirar has given Monaco the lead against Valenciennes. In the relegation standings, it'll go down to a winner takes all next week between Sochaux (40) and Evian (41). What a cracker that'll be.
The scoreline does not to justice to LOSC Lille Metropole. They've been up against it, numbers-wise after Martin's red card. But they have really given PSG a fight. Shame about the finishing.
Goal Blaise Matuidi
GOAL!! Lille 0-3 PSG - MATUIDI! What a move. What a finish! Lovely from Lucas who picks a through ball for Matuidi. Zlatan stays still, effectively a dummy, as he knows he is offside. Matuidi latches onto it, and slides it past Enyeama.
SIRIGU AGAIN! Paris Saint-Germain showing a lot of defensive frailties at the moment, bit Lille cannot take advantage of this momentum. The Italy goalkeeper hurriedly clears the ball away.
Free-kick to PSG, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is standing over this. Zlatan obviously has a penchant for set-pieces from distance. This time however, he skies it well over the bar.
No Thiago Silva, and Marquinhos in a position that he is not usually deployed in, and my word are PSG showing their defensive weakness from corners here. Kalou unable to latch onto it, Sirigu beats it away.
If Paris Saint-Germain maintain the three points tonight, they will break the record for points by any Ligue 1 side in history. Their tally of 86 would surpass 84 set by Lyon.
Les Parisiens, despite their advantage, both in terms of the scoreline and the men on the field, are labouring here. Laurent Blanc's side are having the game taken to them by ten man Lille.
Corner to Lille. Basa is lurking, after his hat-trick of missed chances. The ball narrowly evades him, and the visitors hurriedly get it away accordingly.
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: Blaise Matuidi is on for Adrien Rabiot.
SUBSTITUTION - Lille: Divock Origi is on for Pape Souare.
Elsewhere in Ligue 1: Marseille back down to sixth, and no Europa League as Bordeaux peg them back to 1-1 through Cheick Diabate. Lyon still 0-1 down to Lorient. Meanwhile, it's Valenciennes 1-1 Monaco.
SUBSTITUTION - PARIS: Hervin Ongenda is on for Javier Pastore, whose last bit of action was the assist for Pastore's goal.
The atmosphere has turned into a flat one now, as PSG more or less have sealed the three points this evening. Lille have had a ton of chances recently, but have not taken them.
Assist Javier Pastore
GOAL! Lille 0-2 Paris SG - LUCAS MOURA! The Brazilian winger picks up a perfectly weighted pass from Pastore, and tucks it into the far corner of the goal. Against the run of play. But this is game over.
Pastore finds some space to work into, and suddenly provides Paris Saint-Germain with a 4 v 3 situation. Into Lucas Moura who reciprocates the favour. Rabiot on the receiving end of a pass, but he is fouled on the edge of the box. No free-kick.
IBRAHIMOVIC! Oh dear me. He's a very lucky man. From the corner, the Swede attempts a karate kick which the goalkeeper saves on the line. Trouble is, it was from a Lille corner, and that was almost an own goal!
MARKO BASA x3!! The third chance from the defender. He is unopposed once more, as Alex loses the run. Flying header, and it's tipped over by an alert Salvatore Sirigu. Does lightning strike three times?
Yellow Card Marquinhos
Past the hour mark now, and Lille are beginning to creep back into this match, having the better chances in the last few moments. Elsewhere in Ligue 1, Monaco are 1-0 up at relegated Valenciennes. Marseille have taken the 5th spot.
YELLOW CARD - Lucas Digne. The young full-back is in the book following dissent towards the referee. The second booking from the Parisien side.
Yellow Card Lucas Digne
MARKO BASA AGAIN! Oh that's narrowly over the bar. In fact, it's just clipped the woodwork on the way out. It's a stunning move, and Basa attempts a flying header unopposed. Unlucky.
MARKO BASA! Oh that's just wide of goal! A fine corner from the hosts, but the defender, who rises highest to meet the ball, diverts it just over the bar.
Lille are turning up the style, and countering at every opportunity. Salomon Kalou forces a corner after a fine run. It has upped the ante at Pierre Mauroy. The fans are right behind them.
Ibrahimovic drives forward, but he picks out Pastore who attempts to get a shot away. Blocked by Marko Basa. Lille sitting back, in stark contrast to their first half showing.
Paris have started this second half strongly, as Kjaer does well to halt further progress. Gueye on the counter attempts to latch onto Beria's drilled cross, but after seeing his first effort blocked, slams it high.
Elsewhere in Ligue 1 - the fight for the Europa League intensifies. Marseille have taken a 1-0 lead at Bordeaux, as they search for a first win in 37 years at Chaban-Delmas. Direct rivals Lyon, down to ten men are being held by Lorient.
GOALFLASH: Nantes 0-3 Saint-Etienne. It's almost certain that Sainte will pick up the three points at Beaujoire. Les Verts building a superior goal difference here now! Lille in trouble.
SUBSTITUTION - Lille: Jonathan Delaplace is on for Nolan Roux
UNDERWAY IN LILLE! Lille get us going, they are attacking from right to left in this second half. All to play for.
HT: LIL 0-1 PSG - a controversial first half in the Pierre Mauroy. Lille are down to ten men following the injury suffered by Cabaye, of which Martin was sent off. The playmaker was initially given a booking, but it was deemed serious. PSG soon took the lead after through Marquinhos.
45' + 4'
HALF-TIME: LOSC Lille Metropole 0-1 Paris Saint-Germain
45' + 3'
We are into the third minute of four signalled at the end of the first half. Cabaye's injury, putting his World Cup in doubt, is the source of the extra time added on.
45' + 2'
ROUX! Can't get on the end of a threatening cross from Souare, but great pace from the full-back. Kalou attempts to drive forward, but blocked off by Alex.
Into injury time at Stade Pierre Mauroy. And there'll be many minutes of it after Cabaye's injury.
AS IT STANDS: Lille's Champions League hopes take a dent. They are two points ahead of Saint-Etienne, who remember are 2-0 ahead v Nantes. It'll go down to the final day. And Saint-Etienne have the better goal difference.
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: The injured Yohan Cabaye has been replaced by Ezequiel Lavezzi.
GOAL! Lille 0-1 Paris Saint-Germain. MARQUINHOS!! A defensive mishap from Lille, after they are down to ten. Lucas Moura turns past Kjaer, and his shot is palmed away by Enyeama. Marquinhos arriving on the overlap heads into an empty net.
Yohan Cabaye's FIFA World Cup hopes are in doubt. He's in tears as he's taken off the field by a stretcher. There is concern for the midfielder, and Lille give their former player a standing ovation.
Red Card Marvin Martin
RED CARD - Marvin Martin: The referee has changed his mind. He's pulled the player over and given him a red card. It's an Achilles/Ligament injury, and the referee has deemed it serious enough.
YELLOW CARD - Marvin Martin: OUCH! Yohan Cabaye is on the receiving end of a strong challenge from Martin on the Achilles. The referee quickly issues the booking, but Cabaye in trouble here.
CABAYE! What a strike, and a good punch away from Vincent Enyeama. Cabaye is allowed space by Balmont who struggles to get his block in. A fierce shot, but the goalkeeper eventually gets possession of the loose ball.
Souare does well to deny Lucas Moura who blasts forward on the overlap. Lille functioning well, despite deploying a high line at the moment. Rene Girard's men looking efficient on the ball, nonetheless.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is starting for the first time since the UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Chelsea on April 2. But the Swede hasn't looked overly sharp in the first half hour. A congested defence not helping either.
Sirigu finding it difficult to deal with Lille's corners. Another delivery deep towards the centre, which has Sirigu struggling to fend it away, but he manages to succeed. Pastore breaks, but he is flagged offside eventually.
Controversy reigns. Beria again attempts a bit of a skill, but goes down at the faintest touch from Yohan Cabaye. It's another dive, but the referee refuses to book him. Boos all around.
GOALFLASH: Nantes 0-2 Saint-Etienne: Les Verts are flying high, meaning Lille really do need a positive result in this game to book their place in the UEFA Champions League next year. They do have a cushion between them and Christophe Galtier's men however.
Sirigu's come a long way for that, but he manages to punch it away. Lille continue to push forward, keeping the champions pegged back in their half.
58% possession for PSG as we move to the midway point of the half. Rabiot requires medical treatment after a strong challenge. Lille meanwhile, have a corner. PSG momentarily down to ten men.
Still a lot to be decided in Ligue 1 ahead of next week's final gameweek. Evian have boosted their survival hopes, going ahead 1-0 v Nice. Lyon's Europa League hopes could be taking a tumble. They're down to ten men after Mahamadou Dabo's red card.
PSG suffered their first home defeat in Ligue 1 since November 2012 to Rennes on Wednesday. The capital club - the new French champions - have struggled with motivation and complacency when the going is good. Will they be punished again for a lax start?
Corner to Lille, taken by Marvin Martin. Missed header from Ibrahimovic, who is defending, but Salvatore Sirigu punches the ball away. Balmont recovers it, feeding Martin again on the wing, but the pass is overhit.
Beria does well on the offensive, and it's the hosts' chance to trouble their visitors on the counter. Beria blocked off by Rabiot, but Kalou makes inroads in the penalty box. Cleared by Camara.
Lucas Moura races down the left wing, but is blocked off by Beria. PSG forced back, but maintain possession of the ball. Can't seem to penetrate a solid LOSC defence at the minute.
Fairly combative start in Lille. The referee has already handed a booking to Rabiot, and reprimanded many players in these opening stages. Seems like Ruddy Buquet has a job to do tonight.
Scuffed shot from Rio Mavuba, who hurries an effort which doesn't trouble Salvatore Sirigu in the penalty box. Paris Saint-Germain doing well to repel the Lille offensive so far.
PENALTY? NO. Franck Beria is upended in the box, attempts to cut in and is felled by Lucas Digne. Rene Girard is indignant in the technical area, as is Laurent Blanc - who believes it merits a yellow card, following a dive. The referee just talks to Beria.
GOAL-FLASH: Nantes 0-1 Saint-Etienne: Les Verts take the lead. AS IT STANDS - Lille would be just three points ahead of Sainte, with one game to go. Both have the same goal difference. The final Champions League spot is still undecided.
Nolan Roux is absolutely angry with the referee, after he is upended by Yohan Cabaye, who also fells Marvin Martin in the process. But somehow, the referee gives the free-kick the other way. Still 0-0 in an edgy opening.
IBRAHIMOVIC! Fine defending from Simon Kjaer. Lucas Moura takes advantage from a defensive slip to locate Ibrahimovic, who with a quick turn, fires one towards goal. It's gone narrowly over the top via a deflection, but it's a corner.
There's a full programme in Ligue 1 tonight - all ten games are being played simultaneously. Relegated Ajaccio have started superbly, taking a 2-0 lead against Toulouse.
Good movement from Lille, as Kalou starts a move from the halfway line. A few intricate passes later, the ball is picked out by Pape Souare, whose overhit cross is well caught by Salvatore Sirigu.
Free-kick signalled against Digne, who clips Beria while attempting to latch onto a loose ball from Adrien Rabiot. Lille have started the better of the two sides this evening.
Marko Basa unable to get onto a threatening free-kick from Marvin Martin on the right, and PSG get the ball away, but not far enough. Lille maintain their pressing movement deep into the PSG half.
YELLOW CARD - Adrien Rabiot: The young midfielder will have to watch his step for the next 85 minutes after a second strong challenge in the last minute, this time on Franck Beria.
Yellow Card Adrien Rabiot
Great chance for Lille, as Kalou springs down the right unopposed. Delivered into the middle, but Alex - without defensive partner Thiago Silva - gets the ball away in time.
First movement from Paris into the Lille half with Pastore attempting a ball over the top for Lucas Moura, but good defending from Balmont, who subsequently wins a free-kick after a foul from Rabiot.
Lille have one of the meanest defences in Europe, let alone Ligue 1 and they'll be hoping to showcase a similar gritty performance this evening. They've started well here through Florent Balmont on the right.
UNDERWAY IN LILLE! PSG get us going, attacking from right to left. The roof at the stadium is closed, following inclement weather in the northern French city.
The teams are out at the Grand Stade Lille Metropole, now known as Stade Pierre Mauroy of course. A buoyant atmosphere. If Lille win tonight, or if Saint-Etienne avoid defeat, they close out the top three. Ibrahimovic captains.
PARIS SG: Sirigu, Marquinhos, Alex, Camara, Digne, Cabaye, Verratti, Rabiot, Lucas Moura, Pastore, Ibrahimovic
LOSC LILLE METROPOLE: Enyeama, Kjaer, Beria, Souare, Basa, Balmont, Gueye, Martin, Mavuba, Kalou, Roux.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
For the penultimate round of games in Ligue 1, we also have a full programme on this Saturday evening. Marseille hope to snatch the final Europa League spot from Lyon, but will have to win at Bordeaux for the first time in 37 years. Remi Garde, expected to leave at the end of the campaign, sees his young charges take on Lorient. Departing Remy Cabella captains Montpellier in their game against Bastia.
Lille meanwhile have booked a place in next season's Champions League, closing out the top three in Ligue 1. They have nothing much to play for, with Rene Girard's men enjoying a fantastic season.
Furthermore, Paris Saint-Germain have a lot of players sitting out for this fixture, and on the bench. Right-backs Gregory van der Wiel & Christophe Jallet sit out the meeting also.
Laurent Blanc revealed in Friday's press conference that Thiago Silva won't be considered for the club's final two games, as they seek to preserve the club captain for next month's FIFA World Cup. Edinson Cavani doesn't feature also.
Laurent Blanc's charges will be aiming to hit back after they suffered a 1-2 defeat to Stade Rennes at home on Wednesday, a result that dampened the Parisiens' title-winning party. Expect a rotated squad this evening.
With the title already won, thanks to Monaco's midweek slip against Guingamp, Paris Saint-Germain now set sights on breaking the Ligue 1 points record of 83, that they set last year. They have two games to achieve that in.
Good evening, and welcome to live coverage of the Ligue 1 clash between LOSC Lille Metropole and Paris Saint-Germain from the Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille. I'm Mohammed Ali and I'll be taking you through proceedings tonight.
