The Dynamo found a measure of revenge at the Home Depot Center, where they've lost back-to-back MLS Cups against the Galaxy.Andrew Driver's second-half strike was enough to secure the Houston Dynamo a 1-0 road win against the LA Galaxy at the Home Depot Center.
The Galaxy's biggest chance came midway through the first half, when Landon Donovan played Jose Villarreal behind the Houston defense. Tally Hall came out and upended the Galaxy attacker, forcing Allen Chapman to point to the spot.
However, Donovan stepped up and meekly hit his penalty at Hall, who was left with a fairly simple diving stop. It was Donovan's second penalty attempt of the season, both of which have been saved.
The Dynamo got the game's only goal 10 minutes into the second half. Giles Barnes was sent in along the Galaxy backline and was able to square back for an onrushing Driver, and the Scottish midfielder put his left foot through the ball with his first touch, beating Carlo Cudicini at his near post.
