Entering the night with a three-point lead over FC Dallas for the league's best record, Los Angeles recovered from a one-goal deficit and coasted to a 3-1 victory over the Texas team Saturday night at the Home Depot Center.
The Galaxy now have 48 points in 25 games, while Dallas remains with 42 in 23 matches.
After Marvin Chavez gave Dallas the lead just nine minutes in, Omar Gonzalez scored the equalizer on a header in the 32nd minute. It was all LA from then on.
Juninho had a goal in the 62nd minute and Mike Magee put the game away 19 minutes later.
