Time to wrap this bad boy up! I hope you've enjoyed Goal.com's coverage of this bubbling, buzzing match - make sure you stick around or pop back for all the match reaction to this and every other Serie A game this weekend!
That's it! The referee calls an end to this fairly one-sided Turin clash. An early blitz of goals from Pirlo, Vidal then Matri set the tone for the Juventus win. Roma got a goal back from the spot but Osvaldo's strike could not trigger a comeback of any sort. With the final whistle less than two minutes away, Giovinco capped off a dreamy night for the reigning Serie A champions with a fine finish from a counterattack.
GOAL!! Yet another incisive counterattack from the hosts allows Giovinco to knock it past Stekelenburg and finish admirably from an acute angle. That's this clash wrapped up! Done and dusted. Juventus 4-1 Roma!
Yellow CardMirko Vučinić
Vucinic absolutely clatters into Taddei, and it is (another) deserved booking in this clash. There's been quite a few yellow cards brandished, hasn't there?
Ex-Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba lashes just wide of the right upright from long-range, bringing a huge "ooooo" from the home fans.
Ooo, just as I say that, Osvaldo goes close again for the Giallorossi but it goes flying a few feet over from just inside the box.
Credit to Roma, they're not giving up. However, Juventus are giving them more time on the ball as they conserve energy in a match which looks like it's all theirs now.
Paolo De Ceglie
Sebastian Giovinco is in an apologetic mood after stamping down on Marquinhos' foot in a tackle. A desserved but at least well-accepted yellow card.
Vucinic is exasperated after he's called up for a small push on the Roma left-back.
Yellow CardArturo Vidal
The Giallorossi have been sub-par most of the evening but in these last 10 minutes they have looked more like a team with quality. Better late than never I guess, but too late for tonight I suspect.
Roma almost scored a second! Buffon saves Juve's blushes by diving down to his right to smother Osvaldo's low, snapped shot from inside the box.
Roma have a corner from a free-kick...oh, wait, no they don't. There's been an offside call so Juventus get the ball back.
GOAL DISALLOWED! Juventus defender Bonucci - on the Roma goalline - is ruled offside after bumbling the loose ball in fro all of half a yard!
Marchisio curls in a low shot millimetres wide of the left post. So close to a fourth!
Yellow CardAlessandro Matri
Matri cheekily dives inside the box and is swiftly given a booking for his foolishness.
Penalty GoalPablo Daniel Osvaldo
GOAL!! Pablo Osvaldo casually and coolly slots away the spot-kick to bring back the deficit to just two goals. Game on?! Juventus 3-1 Roma!!
Yellow CardLeonardo Bonucci
PENALTY TO ROMA! Bonucci needlessly elbows Destro after the Roma attacker passes the ball off inside the area and there referee doesn't hesitate for a second to point to the spot.
Destro snatches a volley just over with his first touch since replacing Totti. Buffon probably had it covered, but that would have been a stunning goal.
Perrotta fires a tame shot a few feet wide of the left post from just over 25 yards from goal. Feeble, feeble, feeble.
(That last post is REALLY going to haunt me if Roma do somehow score thrice!)
Roma have now made all three subs. Speaking of the number three, is it at all possible that the visitors can score a three goals to get anything from this match? If anyone inside the Juventus Stadium thinks so I'd give them a sarcastic and patronising pat on the back.
Remember earlier when I heaped praise on Juve's flowing passing? Well now it's time to heap praise on their counterattacking ability, which has been so very, very effective this half. The only thing that has let them down is the final pass and/or finish.
Vucinic has superb awareness, but he should have pulled the trigger there, having dummied a clueless Roma defender, but he's tackled while he thinks about what to do eight yards out.
Roma cannot penetrate Juve's back line, no matter how half-heartedly they try...
Three on three in a Juve counter after Daniele De Rossi - who's had a match to forget so far - gives the ball away, but Vucinic's pass is too heavy for Caceres to get to before the Roma keeper.
Vucinic concedes a free-kick inside the opposition box which ends the hosts' spell of pressure.
Stekelenburg has to rush out to beat Caceres to the ball about 13 yards from goal.
Already Juve have stamped their dominance on this half. Their players are getting to the ball first, winning more tackles, completing more passes, etc etc etc.
Francesco Totti, the Roma captain, is tackled on the edge of the Juve box and the hosts counter excellently. 30 yards out, Vucinic fires a thunderbolt towards the top corner but Stekelenburg leaps to his left to save for a corner.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're back under way in Turin!
Half-time cometh! Juventus fans around the world will be delighted with how this match has panned out, with goals from Pirlo, Vidal and Matri. Roma, on the other hand, have been more shambolic in defence than I would have thought possible from a team with plies it trade in the top Italian league.
45' + 2'
Lamela has another chance to score for Roma but, once again, he fails. This time his header is straight at Buffon from 10 yards out.
45' + 1'
Two minutes of stoppage time in Turin. I hope the visitors are ready for some sort of hairdryer treatment at half-time!
Chiellini is down after a crunching challenge from Panagiotis Tachtsidis.
The way Juventus are passing around with superb flow right now makes you realise just why they have gone 44 games unbeaten. Surely this will be their 45th, right?
Osvaldo has a sort-of-shot blocked in the Juventus area now.
Bonucci is throwing a right royal tantrum after Florenzi tried to argued he had handballed, not chested, Lamela's cross. The Italy international fumes and grabs the Roma player by the throat in his anger, but gets away with just a warning...
A rare attack at the other end! Lamela wins a corner after speeding past the offside trap and whipping a ball against Juventus defender Bonucci's chest from the right half of the box.
Vucinic strikes the crossbar this time! Nobody's marking the forward and his shot grazes the top of the woodwork from 20 yards.
Roma boss Zdenek Zeman reacts to being beaten to a pulp at the back by replacing the struggling Balzaretti with 18-year-old Marquinhos.
Vidal shoots way, way over from 10 yards after Pirlo's cross-field ball tears Roma's defence apart.
The visitors are struggling to string six passes together, whereas the hosts look like they could play football blindfolded and still win!
Vucinic is hustling and harrying Balzaretti, the striker is giving the Roma left-back a torrid time right now.
Roma have woken up it seems, or maybe it's that Juve have lost interest in attacking relentlessly. Either way, it bodes well for them not conceding at least 10 goals that they're putting up a fight.
Yellow CardFederico Balzaretti
The yellow cards are flying out, as the challenges get rougher and less tidy...
Marchisio hits the crossbar! Crikey, this could be double figures at this rate!
Stekelenburg's having a shocker, almost spilling a tame shot into the path of lurking Juventus forward Vucinic.
Yellow CardNicolas Burdisso
GOAL!! Holy moly, Roma are crumbling in front of our very eyes! Matri beats the offside trap, chests down a delightful lobbed ball and fires via the body of Stekelenburg into the back of the net! Juventus 3-0 Roma and we still have over 70 minutes to go!
It should be 2-1!! Lamela has an instant chance to peg back the deficit but puts the shot wide. Heads in hands stuff.
Penalty GoalArturo Vidal
GOAL!! Arturo Vidal makes no mistake from the spot, stroking the penalty into the bottom right-hand corner. Juventus 2-0 Roma!
Yellow CardLeandro Castán
PENALTY TO JUVENTUS! A smart save from Stekelenburg is followed by a handball from Roma defender Leandro Castan. Instant spot-kick decison.
GOAL!! A pearler of a free-kick from Andrea Pirlo! The Italy midfielder answers his recent critics by whistling the ball past a poorly constructed corner to make it Juventus 1-0 Roma!
Yellow CardRodrigo Taddei
Roma are incredibly, unbelievably lucky to not be down to 10 men! Taddei trips Claudio Marchisio on the edge of the box when the last man but it's just a yellow card.
SO CLOSE FOR JUVE! A diagonal cross evades Alessandro Matri in the box but Caceres is lurking at the back post. However, the Uruguayan midfielder is unable to fire into the back of the net from the acute angle and instead it's shot into the side netting on the left.
Paolo De Ceglie, the Juve left-sided man, wins a corner from a dangerous whipped cross. He's looked threatening already in the short time that has passed in this Serie A clash.
Erik Lamela strikes from the left edge of the box but his effort is low, feeble and wide of Gianluigi Buffon's left upright. Goal-kick to Juve.
Ear-splitting boos ring around the ground as Roma enjoy an extended spell on the ball.
Tackles are already flying in! No fouls though, good clean tackles at least. But you can just tell this will be a feisty Saturday night encounter.
And we're off!!!
Leonardo Bonucci is the only player to be ever-present for Juve this season! The defender will be hoping he and his other two centre-backs can help keep a clean sheet tonight.
Looks like an excellent atmosphere at the Juventus Stadium! What scores are we predicting for this clash? Fire in your thoughts to our Twitter handle, @goal_intl!
