So, Juventus join Napoli on six points at the top of Serie A and travel to Inter after the international break. Lazio will look to get back to winning ways when they host Chievo. Thanks for joining me, Max Bentley, on this Goal.com live commentary. Until next time, goodbye.
Juventus certainly look good to retain their Scudetto on that performance. Antonio Conte must be delighted with how Carlos Tevez has integrated into his team. Lazio can have no complaints about the result and will rue some awful defending and Hernanes' dismissal for such a heavy defeat.
FT: Juventus 4-1 Lazio. Six points from six for Antonio Conte's champions. A double from Arturo Vidal set the Bianconeri on their way before Miroslav Klose pulled one back. Mirko Vucinic restored the two-goal cushion before Hernanes was stupidly sent off for handling the ball. Carlos Tevez then made it three goals in three games with a beautiful placed effort late on.
Arturo Vidal searches for his hat trick when he lines up a shot from the edge of the box. It has Marchetti scrambling, but nestles just the wrong side of the post.
We all know that Pogba can hit one but this is not one of his better efforts as he snatches at a volley and it bounces well wide of Marchetti's goal.
Ederson is doing his best to help Lazio find another consolation but his well-struck shot is well saved by Buffon down low to his right.
It seems that this could be a bit of a shop window moment for Quagliarella in these remaining minutes. Despite Matri's departure, his future in Turin is still uncertain and it seems Juventus would be willing to accept offers for the striker.
Ederson looks to make an instant impact when he steps up to execute a free kick from the left corner of the box. However, his shot is too central and Buffon makes a routine save.
Both coaches opt to make a change. Miroslav Klose has not had too much service today and he is replaced by Ederson. Fabio Quagliarella replaces Mirko Vucinic for the hosts. It seems Angelo Ogbonna has also been introduced for the Bianconeri.
TEVEZ MAKES IT 4-1. The Argentine makes it three goals in three games, collecting Vidal's pass before dipping past Cana and placing the ball past Marchetti and into the bottom corner. Just brilliant.
Antonio Conte makes his first change, introducing Mauricio Isla for his first runout of the campaign, in place of Stephan Lichtsteiner.
Assist Arturo Vidal
Goal Carlos Tévez
Senad Lulic has not had too much joy down the left today but he does manage to get his cross into the box this time, only to see it headed away brilliantly by Chiellini.
Gonzalez appears to have drifted into a right wing-back position now but his cross into the middle is disappointing and plucked out of the air by Buffon.
It appears Petkovic is not simply happy to sit back now as he replaces right-back Luis Cavanda with attacker Sergio Floccari.
TEVEZ HITS THE BAR! The Argentine nearly caps his impressive display with a goal, dropping off to receive Vidal's cutback before curling a beautiful effort against the woodwork.
Candreva has been given the license to roam in this second half and he unleashes a brilliant dipping shot towards the bottom corner, which Buffon gets down low to save smartly.
It seems to be damaged limitation for Petkovic's side now as they appear content to sit back and try to soak up the Juventus pressure. After the 4-0 Super Cup mauling and down to ten men, you can hardly blame them.
Vladimir Petkovic opts to make a change, replacing Lucas Biglia with Cristian Ledesma.
HERNANES SENT OFF! What a silly boy! Lulic crosses the ball into the box and Hernanes races in, deliberately handling the ball wide of the post. That's a real blow to Petkovic. Lazio down to ten men.
Lazio are trying to press the ball higher up the pitch now but Juventus are in firm control. The movement of Tevez and Vucinic is causing Novaretti and Cana all sorts of problems at the back.
That goal has really taken the stuffing out of Lazio who now seem incapable of mounting a comeback. Hernanes has not been as effective as in the first half and Petkovic must be tempted to make a substitution sooner or later.
Lichtsteiner presses forward from right wing-back once again and his dangerous cross into the middle is headed well clear by Novaretti, under pressure from Pogba.
Lazio are refusing to give up however and Gonzalez makes Buffon scramble across his goal when his shot slices inches wide of the top right-hand corner.
Vladimir Petkovic will be furious with the simple manner in which his side conceded that third goal. Antonio Conte, on the other hand, will be delighted. The Tevez-Vucinic partnership is looking very good in the early stages.
Mirko Vucinic is clearly not content with just one goal and he seizes onto a pass just outside the box before stinging Marchetti's palms with a well-struck drive.
Assist Leonardo Bonucci
Goal Mirko Vučinić
VUCINIC MAKES IT 3-1. A goal of such a straightforward nature. Bonucci lofts another ball over the top of the Lazio defence and Novaretti misjudges the bounce, allowing Vucinic to steal in and stroke past Marchetti. Poor defending again.
Lazio start the second half brightly with a minute of possession before Candreva fizzes an angled drive wide of Buffon's right-hand post.
The teams reemerge from the tunnels for the second half and Lazio get proceedings back underway. Can they pick up where they left off and grab an equaliser?
Paolo Tagliavento blows the half time whistle to call time on a thrilling first half. Arturo Vidal opened the scoring on 14 minutes with a neat finish to cap a wonderful team move before doubling his tally on 27 minutes. However, Lazio replied instantly and Miroslav Klose reacted quickest to sweep the rebound in the net after Gianluigi Buffon had spilled Hernanes' effort. Let's hope for more of the same in the second half.
45' + 1'
Hernanes is causing Juventus all sorts of problems and he unleashes another swerving strike from distance which Buffon parries. Bonucci is on hand to clear the danger.
CANDREVA GOES CLOSE! Lazio win a free kick a long distance from goal and Candreva's dipping effort bobbles narrowly past the post. I think Buffon would probably have got there had it been on target.
This is a good spell for Lazio as they look to find an equaliser before half time. Hernanes is certainly more effective than he was in the Super Cup encounter just under two weeks ago.
Hernanes whips the free kick into the box and Buffon is off his line quickly to punch clear and prevent Lulic from tapping in at the back post.
Yellow Card Leonardo Bonucci
Leonardo Bonucci joins Hernanes in the book after what appeared to be a good challenge on the Brazilian. The centre-back is furious with that decision.
Yellow Card Hernanes
Hernanes picks up the first caution of the game for a mistimed tackle on Asamoah.
It's Juventus' turn to attack and Vucinic goes close to making it 3-1 when his volley is deflected narrowly over the top after Lichtsteiner's precise cross.
The corner is half cleared by Juventus, but only as far as Hernanes, who sees his shot well caught by Buffon from the edge of the box.
That goal has given Lazio a newfound sense of belief and they win another corner when Buffon pushes Radu's daisycutter around the post.
Kwadwo Asamoah is getting himself into some promising advanced positions down the left and he fizzes a teasing low cross into the box which Vucinic fails to control. You definitely get the sense that there are more goals in this game.
Senad Lulic looks to restore parity for Lazio but his shot from the edge of the box smashes straight into the hoardings. Great game here at the Juventus Stadium.
Goal Miroslav Klose
KLOSE PULLS ONE BACK FOR LAZIO! Buffon fails to hold onto Hernanes' swerving strike from the edge of the box and the German striker is the quickest to react, sweeping in the rebound. Game on!
That is now five goals against Lazio for Arturo Vidal in this calendar year alone.
Assist Leonardo Bonucci
Goal Arturo Vidal
VIDAL MAKES IT 2-0! Where was the Lazio marking? Bonucci steps up from the back and lofts a wonderful pass over the top, where Vidal controls expertly and rolls the ball past the advancing Marchetti. Hernanes lost his marker, Radu failed to hold the line, Lazio in disarray.
Tevez makes a wonderful run down the right, flying past the challenge of Radu, but he cannot pick out a black and white jersey with his cross into the middle.
CANA GOES CLOSE! The Albanian is winning everything in the air today and he nudges Barzagli out of the way before glancing a header narrowly past the post.
GOOD SAVE FROM BUFFON! Antonio Candreva is looking the most dangerous attacker for Lazio and his dipping shot is well pushed away by the Bianconeri captain for a corner.
Juventus are in firm control here. Tevez produces a wonderful dummy to allow Vucinic to latch onto Lichtsteiner's pass but the Montenegrin cannot quite play the ball back into the Argentine's path and the move breaks down.
Lucas Biglia is affording Andrea Pirlo too much space to pick his passes in the midfield. The Argentine anchorman needs to get tighter. We all know what Pirlo is capable of.
Lazio fans must be sick of the sight of Arturo Vidal. The Chilean scored three times against the Biancocelesti last season.
Assist Paul Pogba
Goal Arturo Vidal
WHAT A GOAL FROM JUVENTUS! That is simply sublime from Antonio Conte's side. It starts with some brilliant passing from the back and Pogba chips a delicate reverse ball through for Vidal, who nudges the ball with the outside of his foot past Marchetti. 1-0.
Lazio finally manage to get up the other end and Chiellini is forced to concede a corner when he heads Candreva's dangerous cross behind. Lorik Cana gets up highest to meet the set piece but his looping header is comfortably caught by Buffon.
Juventus are dominant at the moment and Lulic makes a wonderful block to prevent Lichtsteiner from scoring against his former club.
Carlos Tevez has made a lively start and he looks to wriggle beyond the Lazio defence. Novaretti gets his foot in to make a vital challenge before Vidal blasts the loose ball high over the bar.
The Juventus fans scream for a penalty when Tevez goes down in the box after some shirt holding. It would have been very soft and Mr. Tagliavento rightfully waves play on.
Pirlo clips the free kick to the back post but Cana rises above Pogba to clear the danger.
Stephan Lichtsteiner, who was outstanding in Juventus' Italian Super Cup triumph over Lazio, is sent tumbling by a clumsy challenge on the edge of the box. This is Pirlo territory.
CANA TO THE RESCUE! Andrea Pirlo chips a ball behind the Lazio rearguard and just as Vucinic is set to pull the trigger, Cana rushes back to make a crucial challenge.
Lazio immediately attack down the other end and Hernanes stings the palms of Buffon with a fierce left-footed shot from the edge of the box. He scored a cracking goal against Udinese last week.
Nearly a goal after 71 seconds! Mirko Vucinic pokes a ball beyond the Lazio defence for his strike partner Tevez but his shot is straight at Marchetti. It wouldn't have counted though as the linesman's flag was raised.
The referee blows his whistle and Juventus get the ball rolling. Can Conte's side make it two wins out of two or will Lazio achieve Supercoppa revenge?
Fantastic atmosphere at the Juventus Stadium as the teams emerge from the tunnels and onto the field. Juventus are wearing their traditional black and white jerseys with Lazio in their alternative yellow strip. Captains Gianluigi Buffon and Stefan Radu exchange handshakes in the centre circle.
Both coaches name an unchanged side from the teams which secured wins on the opening weekend. Paul Pogba continues in the Juventus midfield in the absence of Claudio Marchisio. Miroslav Klose leads the line for Lazio.
LAZIO (4-4-1-1): Marchetti; Cavanda, Novaretti, Cana, Radu; Gonzalez, Biglia, Hernanes, Lulic; Candreva; Klose.
JUVENTUS (3-5-2): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah; Tevez, Vucinic.
The teamsheets are out and here are the lineups for this evening, starting with the Old Lady...
Only Federico Marchetti's heroics denied Juventus from a win in this fixture last season. The stats do not bode well for Vladimir Petkovic's side who have not won away at Juventus in the league since December 2002 when a double from Stefano Fiore gave them a 2-1 victory.
Lazio themselves, got off to a winning start in Serie A, defeating Udinese 2-1 thanks to goals from Hernanes and Antonio Candreva. Bringing you all the action as it unfolds from the Juventus Stadium tonight, my name is Max Bentley.
Just under two weeks ago, Juventus thumped Lazio 4-0 at the Stadio Olimpico to lift the Italian Super Cup. The Italian champions then got their title defence off to the perfect start last weekend when Carlos Tevez's first competitive goal gave Antonio Conte's side a hard-fought 1-0 victory away at Sampdoria. Can they make it two wins out of two or will the Biancocelesti achieve their revenge?
