That's it from me, Miles Chambers, but be sure to stick around on Goal.com for the Juventus-Lazio match reaction and many other clashes across Europe that are kicking off tonight!
Full-time! Lazio did it! Petkovic's side defended brilliantly all match, but it was goalkeeper Federico Marchetti who will get - and will deserve - the most plaudits for stealing the show with save after save! Juventus were destined for a draw tonight and will head into their crucial midweek match against Chelsea in a frustratingly low ebb by the looks of things.
90' + 5'
Yellow Card Arturo Vidal
90' + 5'
A booking for Vidal for a rash - and clearly frustration-ridden - challenge on a Lazio opponent. That sums up a lot of Juventus players' nights.
90' + 2'
Lazio are continuing to hold out. I wouldn't put it past the Bianconeri to snatch something, but it's not looking very likely...
Yellow Card Cristian Ledesma
Five minutes of stoppage time to play!
Juventus are continuing to press, but shots are actually proving harder to come by.
Three minutes to go, and three minutes of enormously-audible frustration coming from the voices around the ground and etched on the faces of each Juve player.
Half-hearted appeals for handball from around the Juventus Stadium after Andrea Barzagli's ball into the box seems to strike Ledesma in the right hand. Replays show his hands were about as by-his-side as physically possible, so it's probably a good choice from the ref to ignore the spot kick cries this time!
The small forward is disgusted with Ciani's theatrics inside the Lazio area, and he watches on as Nicklas Bendtner joins him in attack late in this game.
Ciani clashed with Giovinco, and the Lazio defender is now flailing about inside his own box.
Just after the closest thing we've seen to a Lazio counterattack since the 20th minute, Klose makes way for Libor Kozak.
Ten minutes to go... 10 minutes for the Bianconeri hosts to craft something from this clash.
Marchisio forces yet another save from Marchetti! The visitors' keeper dives to his left to deny the Italy international the late, opening goal!
Konko fouls Asamoah during a rare Lazio foray up the pitch. He doesn't even put up any argument toward
Konko fouls Asamoah during a rare Lazio foray up the pitch. He doesn't even put up any argument towards the decision against him!
Fun fact: these two sides have scored 13 goals between them in the league this season in the final 15 minutes of the match! Lazio have scraped six, while Juve have clawed in seven! Will that tally be added to tonight?
Giovinco fluffs his lines once more! His touch once inside the area allows the ball to get stuck under his feet, and Lazio scramble clear... again!
Bonucci hits the bar!! How close can the Bianconeri go without getting a goal?!
Lazio are showing literally no desire to attack any longer. If they score tonight, it will be an enormous surprise!
Konko to the rescue once more! Denying Asamoah a shot near the left post after a lofted cross from the right.
Another minute, another missed Juventus chance. Giovinco is one hand to add another notch to the 'Shots off target' statistic for the home side after bursting too close to the byeline to direct his shot on target.
Simone Pepe is cheered onto the pitch by the home crowd as Isla makes way. The winger was hugely influential in Juve's Scudetto win last season!
Konko almost puts the ball into his own net in an attempt to deny Matri a tap-in after Isla's effort from the right side of the box!
Alessandro Matri is being brought on in a straight swap for Quagliarella. 'The Quagster', as I've decided he should always be called, showed good movement this evening but perhaps just was unlucky tonight regarding what clear-cut chances came his way.
Marchetti semi-smothers Marchisio's close-range flick, and when the ball pings out of the box, Vidal lashes his effort a few feet wide of the left upright.
There has been an even quieter lull in play since that Marchetti save, and it looks like Juve are going to make a change to try to alter the stagnant course of this game...
Marchetti!! My word, a super save!! Vidal's shot from 25 yards took a major deflection en route to goal, off Quagliarella's foot in fact, but the Lazio goalkeeper reacts heroically to just tip the effort over the woodwork!!
Gonzalez tracks back to deny an Asamoah cross from reaching any Bianconeri player, sliding the ball out for a corner.
Half an hour to go and this clash remains a stalemate. Sadly, the trend before half-time of the energy sapping out of this tie has continued into the second half. No fun for the neutrals, but I'm sure Lazio fans be be thrilled that their side are holding in there in this clash!
Marchetti has to pluck the ball out of the air with his hands to deny Quagliarella a headed effort at the back post after Pogba's cross from the right.
Brocchi is actually being replaced for Lazio by Ederson. Will the sub make any difference in the visitors' fortunes?
Biancocelesti midfielder Cristian Brocchi gets winded inside his own area and there's a brief pause in play.
Chiellini with an impressive burst of speed on the left wing but his hard work is eradicated when the hosts lose the ball once inside the area.
Yellow Card Federico Marchetti
It's Giovinco's turn to swing in a poor cross, this time from Juventus' right flank.
Asamoah with some excellent dribbling and weaving down the left flank but his cross is way too deep and it's a Lazio goal kick once more.
Lazio were like a blunt knife in the first half: threatening by name but not very effective by nature! Juventus were more like a samurai sword being wielded by an excitable five-year-old. Dangerous but without much interesting in accuracy or aim with their final blows.
Yellow Card Leonardo Bonucci
Klose is hacked down 35 yards out by Leonardo Bonucci. Completely deserved, and the Germany international is still down on the ground clutching his ankle.
Pogba unleashes a strike from 30 yards which starts the second 45 minutes with a home roar, his shot lifting slightly over the bar for a Lazio goal kick.
The players are back out, the hungry among the home fans have presumably grabbed whatever munch they desire during the half-time break and we're about to get back under way!
The referee blows for half-time! The good news is this game is still fairly open, and either side could still take away all three points from the Turin-based stadium. The bad news, though? This game has started to be sapped of its entertainment value, ever since Giovinco pair of misses. Let's hope that trend turns around in the second half!
45' + 1'
Marchisio tumbles to ground softly but wins a free kick... but nothing comes of the Giovinco-taken set piece.
Two minutes of stoppage time are to be played!
Lazio have defended stoutly so far this evening. It looks like they'll be rewarded with a clean sheet at half-time. Can they keep the ball out of their net all match? Or will Juventus eventually find a way to make it through the back line?
Ouch!!! Vidal is holding his face after a high boot from Hernanes catches him in the face near the centre circle. He should be all right to play on, though.
... Oh, but the Juventus training-ground move splinters despite their best efforts the force the ball into the box from the right wing.
Michael Ciani hauls down a Lazio player 30 yards out...
Pogba's had a Jekyll and Hyde performance. Some of his touches have been mouth-watering, but too many of his passes have been wayward and his finishing hasn't been as refined as many of his team-mates might have liked.
Giorgio Chiellini with some superb defensive play to prevent Hernanes from unleashing a crack on goal after a mazy run from around the centre circle. The Lazio attacker is eventually forced off the ball by the experienced Juve defender. He should have pulled the trigger sooner!
Christian Ledesma charges into the back of Vidal on the borderline of the 18-yard box, but the ref doesn't even give a penalty, much to the home supporters' shock. Play on, he insists, and Lazio clear the danger.
SO CLOSE AGAIN! Giovinco pulls off a piece of unbelievable skill with his first touch to turn the Lazio centre-back, but his second touch - his shot - skids inches wide of the left post. The original touch brought delight to the home crowd but the shot brought a chorus of understandable moans.
Super skill from Giovinco on the edge of the 18-yard box to control a heavy pass from the right and turn niftily to fire JUST wide of the left post. So close!
Giovinco fires a sharp free kick on goal from 25 yards, on the left-hand side, but Marchetti drops low to hold onto the pacey but straight-at-the-keeper effort.
It's Vidal's turn to pull-off something ugly! The Chilean tries a nonchalant, flicked-pass one-two with Quagliarella, but it dribbles way ahead of his team-mate and out for a goal-kick to the visitors.
Pogba has an ugly, ugly shot which flies over after a Juve corner. Goal-kick to Vladimir Petkovic's men...
Forget end-to-end, Juventus are starting to set-up camp in the Lazio half! Or, more specifically, around the 18-yard box!
Pogba's tries to float the ball into the air for Marchisio, but it's too high and Marchetti can collect. How many times have we seen Pirlo do that over the years?! He's certainly no Pirlo (yet?), but he's trying the same deft tricks of the trade.
End-to-end stuff at the Juventus Stadium - it's excellent to watch! Admittedly, the clear-cut chances are falling more frequently to the hosts, but Lazio are showing bubbling potential in this clash too.
The home crowd and Quagliarella are fuming when Giuseppe Biava pushes into the back of the Italian striker, but the referee gives the decision in the Lazio defender's favour.
Overhead kick alert!!! Giovinco unleashes a solid 7/10 bicycle kick (it's no Zlatan Ibrahimovic, for those of you who haven't been sleeping through the last 72 hours might have missed) from 15 yards, and Marchetti stretches excellently to palm it away from goal, and Quagliarella can't quite get the rebound shot on target.
Pogba almost gets caught mid-fancy turn, but he doesn't, any Juve break from their own half. The move culminates in Quagliarella slipping inside the Lazio box as he's about to pull the trigger, and the attack dissipates!
Juve attack now... Kwadwo Asamoah sprints in the left half of the box, who fires goalwards but Marchetti palms his powerful, head-height shot over the bar for a corner.
Abdoulay Konko comes forwards from defence to fire a shot from 30 yards a few feet wide of the left post. The shot was never threatening to go in, mind you.
Lazio aren't showing any signs of being overawed against the reigning Serie A champions in Turin. They're battling hard for every ball and I'd wager the possession has been fairly even so far.
Arturo Vidal sprints back and slide tackles Hernanes on the halfway line just as the Lazio playmaker was about to launch a solo counterattack to the momentarily-depleted Bianconeri defence. The ball trickles back to Gianluigi Buffon and the majority of the Juventus Stadium applaud at Vidal's effort.
Lazio are trying to work the ball down the left, while the home side are favouring finding space in the middle of the park during their probing attacks. No clinical shots yet, or shots of any kind unless my eyes have deceived me!
In better - less foul-worthy - news, both sides are finding acres of space, which bodes well for the neutral, but is enough to make defensive purists sniff their noses up in disgust!
Now it's Mauricio Isla's turn to concede a free-kick in the opposition final third!
Alvaro Gonzalez is penalised for what looks to be handball. I think. Unfortunately I can't lip read Italian. One day... Either way, it's a Juve free-kick in their own final third.
Hernanes leaps in the away to try and meet a cross in the air with his head, but the Brazilian can't quite leap high enough.
Federico Marchetti with some very snazzy footwork to prevent the speedster that is Giovinco tackling him! Silky stuff from the Lazio shot-stopper on his own goal-line, of all places!
Fabio Quagliarella wiggles into the box within 70 seconds, but he's quickly surrounded by Biancocelesti defenders, who force the Juve forward off the ball.
We're off! The home fans chant the Bianconeri forwards from the centre-kick...
Below are the line-ups! What are you thoughts on the players who have been picked? Can Miroslav Klose lead Lazio to victory with a goal or two? Can an Andrea Pirlo-less Juventus conquer on home turf tonight? Will Paul Pogba exert his influence on the clash, or is Hernanes more likely to steal the show?
Lazio: Marchetti; Konko, Biava, Dias, Radu; Candreva, Brocchi, Hernanes, Ledesma, Gonzalez; Klose.
Juventus: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Isla, Vidal, Pogba, Marchisio, Asamoah; Giovinco, Quagliarella.
