Collected Totti's early free kick well despite the downpour and showed great anticipation to foil Osvaldo at the start of the second half.
Thriving in the freedom of the wing back role, but shows a lack of willingness to get crosses in first time. Flashed over from the edge of the box when in a good position.
Beaten all ends up time and again by Borini's pace and movement. Didn't look comfortable defending to his left as the former Chelsea man asked constant questions.
Showed the energy of an 18-year-old once more as he put in a full 90 minutes of effort once more. Fantastic run and cross down the right should have resulted in a shot at goal in the least.
Perhaps harshly booked for his collision with Stekelenburg, and later recovered well to block Osvaldo's shot having been turned by the striker.
Largely acted as the spare man as Cambiasso was detailed with the role of shadowing Totti, but when asked to deliver from deep he twice hoofed easily balls into the stands.
Followed Totti everywhere as he anchored a midfield which was largely second best, but which hung in nonetheless.
More subdued than normal starting from a deeper midfield position, but when he drove forward he was a threat as ever. Hit a couple of stinging efforts which had Lobont scrambling to keep away from onrushing strikers.
Involved only fleetingly, and seemed short of his normal game in the aftermath of being jeered on Wednesday by the San Siro crowd.
Frustrated the crowd with his inability to find Milito on one break, but largely linked the play well between midfield and attack before fading in the second half.
Couldn't get a touch at the near post when a cross from the right was scuffed centrally, and should have got a header on target from Sneijder's free kick when colliding defenders put him in.
His brave dive at the feet of Lucio resulted in an early end to his game, and there will be fears as to his short-term availability to Roma.
With the ball at his feet he was a nightmare and he also regularly misjudged simple headers, but his man-marking ability remains excellent and he kept a decent leash on Milito.
His passing might sometimes have had Roma fans with their hearts in their mouths, but defensively he was excellent. Also found time for a backheel pass in a left-wing position.
Failed to hold possession at times, and one or two of his passes did teammates no favors, but his general distribution was tidy enough. Shown up for his lack of pace when 38-year-old Zanetti cruised past him.
D. De Rossi
Masterful performance from the midfielder in a virtual center back role. His passing was assured, his leadership was vital, and his reading of the game saved Roma on more than one occasion.
Industrious as ever in midfield, keeping the play ticking over well as Roma dominated long spells of possession, but one lapse almost proved costly.
His willingness to chase down everything made him a good choice at right back, and his ability on the ball from the deep was priceless.
Beaten on the byline by Milito when exposed on the right. Often fighting to stay with Nagatomo, but used his experience to keep in the battle. Very nearly gifted Inter a winner, though.
There was both the sublime and the ridiculous from Totti tonight. A lovely backflick pass sent Pjanic through, but then he hoofed a ball out of play 20 yards back. Played one particularly superb ball for Borini which Roma could have scored from.
Great belief saw him turn Ranocchia time and again, winning corners and chances when reaching the byline. Might have done better from Totti's cross-field pass when volleying wide.
Still seemed a touch out of place on the left of the strikers, but his movement gave him a few chances. Pulled off the last defender superbly to get in a left-foot shot, and caused more trouble after the break, forcing Julio Cesar into a good save.
- 12 L. Castellazzi
Replaced Obi but unable to add anything to Inter's game.
- 44 M. Bianchetti
Late replacement for Forlan.
- 30 L. Castaignos
- 7 G. Pazzini
Immediately unleashed a stinging left-foot strike only marginally wide, and then had a similar effort moments later.
His inability to hold onto powerful shots might have been his downfall on another night, but his parries from Forlan and Sneijder proved just enough after replacing the injured Stekelenburg.
- 77 M. Cassetti
- 5 G. Heinze
- 87 A. Rosi
Showed a real thirst for possession when replacing Pizarro, and the early signs suggest he'll fit in well at Roma.
- 14 Bojan
Late replacement for Borini.
