Forward Will Bruin and the Dynamo will look to stay hot and send RSL back to Utah with its first defeat of the season when the teams meet Sunday.
The Houston Dynamo will look to hand Real Salt Lake its first defeat of the season and extend its own two-match win streak when the clubs meet Sunday in Houston (7 p.m. ET, MLS Live).
The visitors enter as the final undefeated team in MLS, though they're still sitting behind the Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference, thanks to the Cascadia club's game in hand and superior number of wins. The last time out, Real Salt Lake defeated the Chicago Fire 3-2, with two goals coming from Joao Plata.
The hosts sit in an Eastern Conference logjam, tied with three other teams atop the conference with 14 points. But they'll still be eager to pick up more points and extend a winning streak with their 10 games played the highest of any of the teams involved.
The Dynamo notched a 1-0 victory against Columbus on Wednesday, as Will Bruin scored for the third consecutive match on a service from Brad Davis.
The left-footed provider may not be around for much longer, with a likely inclusion on Jurgen Klinsmann's World Cup provisional roster likely to take him to California for several weeks, while Boniek Garcia has already been named to Honduras' 23-man side for Brazil. On the opposite side, Kyle Beckerman and Nick Rimando are also expected to get a call from Klinsmann and Alvaro Saborio should hear from Costa Rica manager Jorge Luis Pinto.
