The Dynamo got a winner in stoppage time to top Real Salt Lake. The Utah has now lost four of its last five matches.A stoppage-time goal for Houston helped the Dynamo earn a 3-2 win over Real Salt Lake Saturday night in an entertaining match.
The goals started flowing in the 28th minutes when RSL took the lead through Fabian Espindola, but the real action took place after halftime.
Brian Ching pulled Houston level in the 47th minute, and Salt lake went back in front in the 60th through Luis Gil. Houston stormed back through Bobby Boswell in the 69th minute to level the match and set up a frantic finish.
Houston pushed hard to find the winner and finally got it three minutes into stoppage time through late sub Alex Dixon, whose shot beat Nick Rimando to give the Dynamo three crucial points in their chase for the playoffs.
