The Galaxy are winless in three as they visit a Dynamo side they defeated in the 2011 and 2012 MLS Cup finals, with both sides missing U.S. national team call-ups.For the LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo, life without their U.S. national team call-ups begins this weekend.
In a rematch of the 2011 and 2012 MLS Cup finals won by the Galaxy, the clubs will meet Saturday at BBVA Compass Stadium (8:30 p.m. ET, MLS Live). The Galaxy will be without center back Omar Gonzalez and midfielder-forward Landon Donovan because of national team obligations ahead of the World Cup, while the Dynamo will be missing winger Brad Davis.
Houston, however, will have the services of Boniek Garcia for one more match, with the midfielder not reporting to the Honduran national team until after this weekend.
That's good news for Houston, which will be without defender Eric Brunner (ankle) and midfielders Ricardo Clark (concussion), Servando Carrasco (suspension) and Tony Cascio (torn ACL). Defender Jermaine Taylor (groin) and forward Will Bruin (knee) are questionable.
With Gonzalez on national team duty and left back Todd Dunivant (abdomen) still a question mark, the Galaxy again seem poised to use the makeshift back line of Dan Gargan, Kofi Opare, Leonardo and A.J. DeLaGarza.
