Commentary

Full time in the Volksparkstadion and it's Hamburg 2-5 Dortmund. A crazy match, we hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for staying without throughout all the action in this Bundesliga clash.
89' More great football from Dortmund as Schurrle manages to prod a ball into Guerrrerio who was overlapping into the box but the touch from the left-back let him down as Adler rushes out to pounce on the play.
87' Muller again doing well around the Dortmund box as he feeds Hunt whose cross into the box is blocked out for a corner which eventually leads to little for the hosts.
Douglas Santos
Yellow Card
Hamburger SV
85' Santos collects a yellow card for tugging on Passlack who was rushing up the pitch.
85' CHANCE! Schurrle left with far too much room at the back post as Aubameyang does well to craft the opportunity to cross to the German international, but the winger doesn't connect cleanly with the volley and shoots wide.
83' Muller doubles Hamburg's goal tally for the season with his second of the match as he continues to carry the home side's front line this afternoon.

F. Passlack
S. Papastathopoulos
Borussia Dortmund
81' Passlack comes on for the injured Sokratis.
80' Stoppage in play as Sokratis going down clutches his abs and it appears as if the Greek defender won't be able to continue the rest of the match.
78' Dembele's goal has defused the home crowd with just the Dortmund fans ringing around the Volksparkstadion right now. This has turned out to be a training match for the visitors.
P. Aubameyang
Assist
Borussia Dortmund
76' Aubameyang turns provider as the striker flicks the ball through to Dembele to allow the youngster to extend Dortmund's lead.
O. Dembélé
Goal
Borussia Dortmund
76' GOAL! Dembele proves other players on the pitch can score for Dortmund as he opens up his body to curl a left-footed effort over Adler.
75' STAT: In the calendar year of 2016 Dortmund have never losts a match when winning a match by two goals or more.
72' Slight stoppage in play as Ekdal clashes with Djourou as both of them challenge for the same ball in the air despite no yellow shirt going with them, but it appears as if the Swedish midfielder will be okay to continue.
70' Chance for Dortmund from the free-kick as Sokratis rises high to meet with the delivery at the back post but it only able to head over the crossbar.

D. Diekmeier

Hamburger SV
68' Sakai gets the first yellow of the match for bringing down Pulisic on the wing.
68' End-to-end stuff here as Dortmund get a corner to slow down the Hamburg attacks and Guerreiro's left foot curls the set-piece out for a goal kick during its flight into the box.
66' Somewhat a charge on the Dortmund defence as Waldschmidt registers an attempt on goal as the hosts are starting to look more cohesive, but Burki gets in the way of the shot to push clear.
64' Well, if there's one thing this match has brought it's certainly entertainment. Whilst the Hamburg fans may be smarting at the result, the game has been a great watch.
62' Almost a chance for Hamburg as this time it's Burki who gifts an opportunity, but fortunately for Dortmund the ball goes out for a goal kick in a match with many players slipping up!
60' DISALLOWED! Gregoritsch is denied Hamburg's second as a deep cross from Diekmeier is met at the back post and tapped in, but the referee believe the winger impeded Ginter whilst fighting for the ball.
59' Sweeping Dortmund movements from the visitors as they continue to attack the back line, but it appears as if there's only one man who can score for the away side this afternoon as Castro is unable to find him with a cross.
57' STAT: January 2012 was Dortmund's last win at the Volksparkstadion.
L. Waldschmidt
Assist

N. Müller
Goal
Hamburger SV
55' GOAL! The Hamburg crowd have something to cheer about as Sokratis gets sucked into the play and allows Muller to escape and slots past Burki to end the home side's drought in the league.
54' For Hamburg to get a point for this match they'd need to triple their goal current goal tally for the season, that goes a bit of the way of illustrating how much of a lost cause this match is for the home side.
L. Waldschmidt
P. Lasogga
Hamburger SV
52' Waldschmidt replaces Lasogga who goes off to a chorus of boos from the home support.
52' More scrambles at the back as Hamburg are all over the place and panic to get the ball clear as Dortmund launch yet another attack on their defence.

48' Hamburg start the second half brightly with Muller getting some room on the left side and crosses into the Dortmund box which almost sneaks into the top corner, but Burki is awake to the danger and catches the ball awell.
46' We're off in the second half.
Half time at the Volksparkstadion and it's Hamburg 0-3 Borussia Dortmund. Mistakes have been the downfall of the hosts, but Dortmund deserve their lead going into the break.
44' Mor almost gets the better of the Hamburg defence again as he rounds Diekmeier and Djourou on the right side but unfortunately for the visitors his touch is too heavy and he runs out of play.
42' Hamburg are still fighting with Diekmeier getting up the right side to deliver a cross into the box, but despite the acrobatics from Muller to meet with the ball he can only head wide.
40' Almost a good opportunity for Hamburg as Gregoritsch finds some room on the edge of the box and he chooses to try and thread Lasogga through on goal, but his pass is too close to Bartra and he intercepts the ball.
38' STAT: No Hamburg player on the pitch has a Bundesliga goal to their name this season.
36' Surprisingly Hamburg are having the better share of the possession recently, although Dortmund seem very happy to sit back and break for the rest of the game with the hosts making chances for them.
33' CHANCE! Free header for Spahic in the area following another corner but the defender is able to do little with his effort to trouble Burki as he heads over the crossbar.

31' Cleber replaced for Ekdal as Gisdol starts to make changes before it moves from a football match to a slaughter house.
31' Corner for Hamburg as Gregoritsch whips a cross into the area but it's hit far too deep and the ball flies over the box out for a throw-in.
29' A performance worthy of relegation so far from Hamburg; little cohesion and no teamwork. The home fans are getting agitated and it's going from bad to worse for the Bundesliga basement club.

Assist

25' A terrible time for Hamburg to concede just as it looked as if the home side were forcing some pressure at Dortmund, but with cheap errors at the back like that they stand no chance in this fixture.
E. Mor
Assist
Borussia Dortmund
23' Mor pounces on the loose pass from Santos and rushes towards Adler before squaring to Aubameyang for his second of the game.
P. Aubameyang
Goal

22' STAT: This is the most goal-laden fixture in Bundesliga history with 348 goals being scored in the 99 meetings between the sides.
20' Once again Hamburg players prove to get in each other's way as Spahic and Sakai battle for the same ball with the latter attempting to shoot but the defender takes the ball away from the midfielder.
18' Corner for the home side as they look to apply pressure on the visitors with Gregoritsch taking the set-piece, but Bartra managed to rise highest to get the ball clear.
16' Dortmund aren't attacking as frantically at the moment as Hamburg have managed to take a bit of sting out of the visitors, but they still need to be wary of the danger the Yellow-Blacks have on the wing.
14' Despite Dortmund being the better of the two sides, Hamburg are still finding opportunities to get up the field with a deep cross from Gregoritsch being met by Muller at the back post, but unfortunately for the winger nobody was ready to attack his header back across goal.
12' Dortmund with their second corner of the match which is delivered into the box with lots of promise, but Lasogga does well at the back to use his physicality to head the ball away from danger.
10' It's been a fairly scrappy game so far, but Dortmund certainly look the better of the two. The visitors are looking much brighter on the wings with Pulisic finding room on a couple of occasions and Mor escaping Diekmeier once or twice.
8' The Hamburg crowd are already getting unrested with mistakes all over the pitch from the home fans as Lasogga and Gregoritsch run into each other to award possession to the visitors.
6' Well, Hamburg really have their work cut out now! With Markus Gisdol's side struggling to score this season, unless they break their trend then Dortmund fans will be expecting all three points.
P. Aubameyang
Goal
Borussia Dortmund
4' GOAL! I didn't take Dortmund long to get going and no prizes for guessing who! Adler makes a save from Mor's shot but it's pushed into the path of Aubameyang for an open goal.
3' First slightly dangerous opportunity comes the way of Hamburg as Sakai finds some room on the right side to get a cross into the box, but Burki does well to gather the ball in his first bit of action this afternoon.
1' Dortmund get the match underway!
Just five minutes until kick-off! The fans are in their seats, the atmosphere is building and the players are in the tunnel. Not long now.
Both managers have opted for a number of changes that started their respective previous fixtures; Gisdol has introduced five new faces to the team sheet against Dortmund from their 3-0 loss in Cologne, whereas Tuchel has gone for four alterations from his Champions League side in midweek.

It appears Hamburg has found their nadir in their Bundesliga history this season. The only club to play in every season of the top flight since its inception, now find themselves bottom of the league without a goal in seven – when will it end?
