FULL TIME: A disappointing evening for Team GB as Moussa Konate's late strike earns Senegal a point after Craig Bellamy had given the hosts the lead.
90' + 3'
Konate has a late chance to give Senegal all three points but he fires his shot into the side netting.
A late penalty appeal for GB as Sordell goes down under a challenge from Abdoulaye Ba. The referee waves the claims away and replays show he was correct to do so as Ba clearly won the ball.
Crossbar! Aaron Ramsey sprints down the left before cutting the ball back for Marvin Sordell who crashes his shot against the woodwork.
Khalidou Coulibaly Yero
Yellow Card Papa Gueye
GB look to respond quickly. The hosts win a free-kick on the right-hand side, Giggs' delivery is met by Micah Richards at the far post but it proves to be no problem for Ousmane Mane who saves comfortably.
Assist Sadio Mané
Goal Moussa Konaté
Senegal are level! Sadio Mane may have missed a few gilt-edged opportunities earlier in the game but the midfielder plays a beautiful ball through to Moussa Konate who lifts the ball over Butland to equalise.
Goalscorer Craig Bellamy is given a standing ovation as he is replaced by Southampton's Jack Cork.
Ciss is now getting booed by the angry Old Trafford crowd every time he touches the ball, which is often as GB are still struggling to retain possession with any sort of proficiency.
Its all getting a bit heated at Old Trafford. Saliou Ciss comes in with a very late challenge on Bellamy which is somehow missed by the match officials. Neil Taylor voices his frustration with Magaye Gueye and handbags ensue. The referee soon calms the situation down but the tackle goes unpunished.
GB go close to snatching a second, Aarron Ramsey breaks down the left and crosses into the box, however Craig Bellamy is unable to guide the ball into the net as his effort is cleared off the line. Everton's Magaye Gueye is thrown into the fray for Senegal in place of Ibrahima Balde.
Its one way traffic at the moment, GB can't keep hold of possession and Senegal are continuing to dictate play. Joe Allen limps from the field with an injury and the Welshman is replaced by compatriot Aaron Ramsey.
Senegal look fluid and strong in possession, and they're beginning to get on top in this second half. Saliou Ciss forces a good save from Butland with a powerful long range strike. Danny Rose clears Balde's header off the line from the resulting corner.
The rain is tumbling down here at Old Trafford, not much to report on the pitch sadly.
Ibrahima Balde turns smartly inside the box before unleashing a fierce shot which Butland does well to turn behind for a corner.
Yellow Card Craig Bellamy
Senegal get the second half underway. One change for GB, as Marvin Sordell replaces Daniel Sturridge.
It hasn't been pretty, but Team GB lead 1-0 at the break thanks to Craig Bellamy's close range strike. Senegal have played some decent football but they will surely rue that amazing miss from Sadio Mane.
The referee blows for Half Time.
Yellow Card Sadio Mané
Idrissa Gueye's injury was clearly more serious than first thought. The Lille midfielder cuts a dejected figure as he limps off the field and down the tunnel. The midfielder is replaced Cheikhou Kouyate of Anderlecht.
Giggs loops a free-kick into the path of Daniel Sturridge, who tries to take the ball round Ousmane Mane before firing a shot high and wide from a near impossible angle.
Yellow Card P. Souaré
Pape Souare is booked for a lunging challenge on GB's Neil Taylor.
Giggs chips the free-kick into the box but it is wasted as Steven Caulker is penalised for a foul on a Senegalese defender.
Little bit of a break in play here, Zargo Toure fouls Danny Rose on the left hand side. GB have another free-kick in a dangerous position but they will have to wait while Idrissa Gueye receives treatment for an injury.
Saliou Mane has another chance to draw the teams level as he finds himself through on goal once more but Micah Richards puts in an excellent block to deny the FC Metz man.
Senegal, despite that shocking miss, should not be too disheartened. GB are allowing them plenty of time and space and you sense that an equaliser might not be far away.
Miss of the tournament? This one is definitely a contender. Jack Butland's clearance falls straight to Sadio Mane, the midfielder has the simple task of sliding the ball past the GB keeper but fluffs his lines as he somehow chips the ball wide of the goal.
Goal Craig Bellamy
Team GB haven't been very impressive but they get the all important opening goal. Saliou Cisse fouls Craig Bellamy on the right hand side, Ryan Giggs delivers an in-swinging free-kick which is only half cleared, the ball falls to Bellamy and he hammers it home on the volley.
GOAL!!!!! TEAM GB 1-0 SENEGAL (BELLAMY)
This hasn't been a great start for GB by any stretch of the imagination. Senegal are defending well and look dangerous on the break, this may not be the walkover some expected.
Its only taken 14 minutes and already we have out first Mexican wave in the Old Trafford crowd!
Both teams are sort of finding each other out at the moment. GB are the dominant force in possession but Senegal don't look too troubled. Tom Cleverly flings a ball into the box but keeper Ousmane Mane collects easily
Senegal have an early corner, Papa Gueye delivers but it is well defended by GB, the ball is quickly flung back into the box but again the attack comes to nothing
Its been somewhat of a slow start here in Manchester, GB have had most of the possession but have yet to create a goalscoring opportunity
Team GB get us underway!
Out come the two teams! They are greeted by a packed crowd at Old Trafford
