Mark Schwarzer who? The Australian goalkeeper, who is on international duty for up to a month, was not missed at all by the home side as Stockdale pulled of a string of superb saves. Pick of the bunch was a good stop down to his right from Jerome Thomas. Handled the ball well and commanded the area.
Torrid night for the Ghana international as Jerome Thomas tormented him for 90 minutes. Went wandering as Brunt sent Thomas through on goal but his keeper came to the rescue. Lucky to stay on the field as his late challenge ended Marek Cech's night.
Supported Davies well in attack and provided an overlap whenever the opportunity presented itself. Needs to improve his crossing ability if he is to stay at full-back but he did his job well. Caught out once by Odemwingie's pace.
Comfortable display for the center-half alongside Hangeland. Marshaled Odemwingie superbly and only let him get free on a couple of occasions.
Great strike for the opening goal but lucky Scott Carson was in a generous mood. Industrious display from the former Welsh international. He ran at Hurst all night and his set-pieces caused the makeshift West Brom defense problems.
Simple and effective for the Fulham skipper. Not his most glamorous performance but it was effective. The former Liverpool player held things together in the middle of the park with his accurate passing .
His strong challenge on the edge of the West Brom box got the ball to Davies in the build up to Fulham's opening goal. Not one of the midfielder's better nights as he gave the ball away far too often.
Along with Davies, Duff was a constant thorn in West Brom's side as he peppered the box with crosses from the left. The Irish winger never let his opposite man settle.
Worked his socks off but didn't get any reward for his efforts. Great turn and shot early on saved by Carson but overall his control let him down at vital moments.
Battled really hard for his side and was a giant for his side in the air. Scored the crucial second with a thundering header past Scott Carson.
Not a great night for the England keeper. Horror moment for the first as he palmed Davies' well-struck shot into the goal. Made a good save early on down to his left from Kamara's shot but will be having nightmares when he sees a replay of the opening goal. Could have done better with Dempsey's header as well.
Not an easy night for the 18-year-old as Simon Davies used all of his experience up against the full-back. Tried to get forward and support his team-mates but was too occupied by the threat of the Fulham winger. Promising performance under the circumstances.
Not an easy night as part of the makeshift defense, Tried his best to deal with the Fulham attack but he and his new defensive partner came off second best. Was caused problems by the home side's set-piece play.
Produced a great block on Dempsey in the first half when the American striker was certain to score but that was a bright spot as the visitors' defense struggled to cope with Fulham.
Cech's evening was ended prematurely after he was caught on the knee by a late challenge from John Paintsil. The Slovakian full-back left the field clearly in pain and was replaced by Nicky Shorey after 34 minutes.
Poor performance from the right midfielder as he misplaced pass after pass. He struggled to get into the game and was a passenger in the middle of the park before being replaced by Simon Cox.
Another who did not live up to his usual high standards. Showed glimpses of his class but did not get on the ball enough as the Cottagers won the midfield battle.
Was lucky not to give away a penalty in the opening period as he bundled over Dempsey in the box but other than that the midfielder tackled hard all night for his side before being replaced by Marc-Antoine Fortune.
West Brom's best player on the night. Gave his all for the Baggies in a losing cause. Showed great skill and intelligence on the ball. Superb disguised ball for Brunt in the first half but his team-mate could not get on the end of it.
Lively opening 30 minutes from the Nigerian striker as he tested David Stockdale with a couple of early efforts. But after Fulham started to take control the forward went missing along with most of his team-mates.

Brought on when Roberto Di Matteo's side were chasing the game. Failed to make an impact up front alongside Odemwingie.
Brought on to grab a foothold in the midfield for the Baggies but the change didn't have the desired effect as the visitors crumbled in the second half.
