  • 90' + 4'
And Mertesacker makes another block from a Cabaye shot and the Italian referee calls it a night. Germany come back from behind to make it 2-1, and claim their first win against France in 26 years. That's all from me - stay tuned to Goal.com tonight for all the fallout to this match and others.
  • 90' + 3'
And again! Ribery advances into the area, but Hummels stretches out a toe and gets it away.
  • 90' + 3'
Menez tries to thread it through to Benzema, but Hummels gets across and makes a great challenge.
  • 90' + 2'
Kroos counterattacks down the right and shoots from distance. It goes well over, and France can pump it long again.
  • 90' + 1'
What a tackle! Ozil plays another delightful ball through to Schurrle, who is about to pull the trigger, only for Capoue to make a fantastic tackle.
  • 90'
Germany play keep--ball down the right and win a throw - a good opportunity to waste three of the added minutes.
  • 89'
    Substitution Thomas Müller Lars Bender
  • 89'
Lars Bender replaces the man who scored the equaliser, Thomas Muller. Germany are looking to close this one out.
  • 89'
OFFSIDE!!! Ribery forces a great after skinning Lahm, and the ball is put in the back of the net, but Giroud was a good four or five yards offside.
  • 88'
The French advance well, but Mertesacker and Hummels stand their ground and clear it to touch.
  • 86'
    Substitution Mathieu Valbuena Jérémy Menez
  • 86'
Muller takes a poor first touch in the area, allowing Ribery to get back and make the challenge. The German wants a corner, but it's a goal kick.
  • 84'
Schurrle takes a shot after some neat combination play, but Lloris gets behind well, and makes the save.
  • 82'
It's in the net! But no - it's been disallowed for a foul. The corner comes in from the left, and there's an almighty melee in the box and Howedes drives it home, but the ref had given a foul against a Germany player on Lloris.
  • 81'
Howedes makes good ground down the right and wins the corner. Germany's big guns go forward.
  • 80'
    Substitution Moussa Sissoko Olivier Giroud
  • 80'
Somewhat comically, Olivier Giroud has been waiting for quite some time to come on. He finally gets his moment, replacing Sissoko when Hummels clears a Ribery cross into touch.
  • 78'
Ozil plays in Kroos, whose ball from the byeline is caught easily by Lloris, and France go in search of an equaliser.
  • 77'
Ozil picks out Lahm, who fails to find a team-mate. Sakho makes a good block to put it behind.
  • 76'
Germany are looking to put this one out of sight. Another lovely pass finds Schurrle, whose subsequent ball is very, very poor. Germany looking good for their first win over France since 1987, though!
  • 74'
    Assist Mesut Özil
  • 74'
    Goal Sami Khedira
GOAL!!!! Ozil plays a fantastic disguised pass to Khedira, who slips the ball under Lloris and puts Germany ahead. Lovely goal.
  • 73'
So close!! Germany fail to clear their lines as Ribery, Benzema and Cabaye terrorise them down the right wing, but a body throws himself in the way and makes the block.
  • 71'
Ribery turns away from Hummels brilliantly and shoots from 20 yards. Khedira was covering - should he have looked for the pass?
  • 70'
It's a Germany shot, but it's not a great one. Muller tries his luck from 20 yards, but it's an easy, easy save from Lloris. They'll have to do better than that.
  • 68'
    Substitution Lukas Podolski Andre Schürrle
And we've had Germany's second sub - Podolski off, Schurrle on. Like for like, it seems.
  • 68'
WHAT A CHANCE!! Benzema gets down to the byeline and pulls it back to Ribery, who angles his effort narrowly wide. That should be 2-1.
  • 66'
There's 25 minutes to go here. France are beginning to turn the screw, can Les Bleus find a winner?
  • 64'
Valbuena plays a lovely one-two with Benzema and tries to curl one into the top corner, but it goes narrowly wide. He's have a great game, the OM man.
  • 62'
Chance! Adler hesitates to claim a cross with Benzema looming, but the Madrid man misses the ball, and the HSV keeper claims comfortably.
  • 61'
What a tackle! Valbuena twists and turns on the edge of the box, but Hummels gets across brilliantly to win the ball cleanly with a firm challenge.
  • 60'
Benzema dodges a tackle on the edge of the German box, steps inside his man, and shoots, but it goes narrowly over.
  • 59'
Lahm and Khedira combine well down the Germany right, but Rami gets across well and clears.
  • 57'
    Substitution Mario Gomez Toni Kroos
And now we've had Germany's first change of the match, and it's a slightly strange one. Gomez off, and Kroos on.
  • 56'
At the other end, Evra crosses from the left, but no France player can take advantage of Adler's indecisiveness, and the defence scramble it clear.
  • 54'
Germany are really turning the screw now. Howedes plays it through to Muller, but Lloris gets out of his goal and saves well.
  • 53'
Khedira makes a great dart forward from midfield, but his ball towards Podolski is a little too hard, and the Arsenal man can't keep it in.
  • 51'
    Assist Ilkay Gündogan
  • 51'
    Goal Thomas Müller
GOAL!!!! Capoue gifts the ball to Gundogan, who plays it to Muller, and the Bayern forward levels up the match. Great finish, but a sloppy goal.
  • 50'
This time, it's Valbuena who finds space down the left and crosses, but Lahm puts it behind for a corner.
  • 48'
Evra plays in Sissoko, but the Newcastle man's cross fails to find a body and drifts out of play.
  • 47'
Thomas Muller tries to lay the ball into the path of Gomez, but it's over-hit, and France regain the ball.
  • 46'
    Substitution Blaise Matuidi Etienne Capoue
  • 46'
    Substitution Laurent Koscielny Adil Rami
  • 46'
And we're back! There doesn't seem to have been *that* many changes. Capoue and Rami on for Koscielny and Matuidi.
  • The teams are back out. I'll try my best to keep abreast of the changes.
  • We've almost had our 15-minute break. What do you think will happen after the restart? Can Germany stage a comeback? Will France hold on? Stay tuned to find out...
  • And that's half-time. Germany barely have time to kick off after the goal. It's been an even game, but France go into the break a goal to the good thanks to Valbuena's late strike. Stay tuned for the second half.
  • 44'
    Assist Moussa Sissoko
  • 44'
    Goal Mathieu Valbuena
GOAL!!! Benzema's free kick clatters off the crossbar, and it comes back to Valbuena, who nods it past the Hamburg goalkeeper. 1-0 France, and we have our opener.
  • 43'
Khedira goes in with his studs showing on Matuidi, and concedes a free kick 30-odd yards from goal. One suspects he might have been booked for that, were this game competitive.
  • 42'
Again, Germany counterattack at break-neck speed, with Ozil making great ground, but his ball through to Gomez is over-hit and Lloris has an easy claim.
  • 41'
We're approaching half-time, and the only question is how we haven't had a goal. Both teams have looked very impressive indeed.
  • 39'
France break down the right once more, and Sagna tries to whip in a cross from the right wing, which Podolski blocks behind for a corner.
  • 37'
The centre-backs really have done well tonight. I can't count the number of headers they've won or interceptions they made. Entertaining, fast-paced football, but it remains 0-0.
  • 35'
Howedes' is well blocked by Koscielny, but it falls agonisingly close to Podolski. Just out of the Arsenal man's reach.
  • 34'
Benzema tries to thread a ball through to Ribery, but Mertesacker is perfectly placed to intercept the ball.
  • 33'
A poor header from Hummels gifts possession to Benzema, who seems oddly hesitant, and allows the BVB defender to hook it away. The Real Madrid man has been none too impressive so far.
  • 30'
End-to-end stuff! Ribery and Benzema combine well in the Germany box, but the visitors scramble it away. Up the other end, Ozil finds Muller, whose cross is tame.
  • 29'
Sissoko wins a corner down the France right. Will we get that first goal?
  • 27'
What a miss!! France should be ahead, with Benzema somehow beating the offside trap, but Adler makes the save, and well to. The HSV man has put in a good account of himself so far.
  • 26'
Ribery! The Bayern star dribbles through the entire Germany team and rolls it across to Benzma, who touches into Valbuena's path, but it goes well over.
  • 25'
Podolski puts in a great cross that Koscielny keeps away from from Gomez, but the ball falls to Howedes, whose shot it very, very poor.
  • 24'
This has been pleasantly surprising. Both teams have been adventurous, and have had good chances to score. All we need is that first goal.
  • 21'
OFF THE BAR!! Ozil delivers the resulting corner to the near post and Mertesacker, whose header is touched onto the woodwork by Lloris. The second corner comes to nothing, and although France try and break, Benzema is flagged offside.
  • 21'
And again! At the other end, Khedira is played in, but Sakho does brilliantly to get across and dispossess him.
  • 20'
Brilliant defending! Ribery plays it through the middle into the path of Sissoko, but Howedes gets across and makes the tackle.
  • 19'
Gomez has his first real opportunity to shoot after turning Cabaye, but drags his left-footed effort wide.
  • 17'
Germany counterattack brilliantly, with Muller powering through the middle and forcing it towards Ozil, who shoots over the bar, failing to get his foot around it.
  • 15'
A sight the Germany squad will know well - Ribery twists and turns in the box and pulls the ball back, only for Lahm, of all people, to clear it.
  • 14'
Nervous moment for Adler, who is forced to race off his line to claim the ball ahead of Benzema.
  • 13'
Podolski beats his Arsenal team-mate Sagna for pace and whips in a cross, but Llrois claims it with ease.
  • 12'
Podolski plays the ball down the left to Howedes, who has a wonderful opportunity to whip in a cross, but his delivery is poor and swings out of play.
  • 11'
Germany's high defensive line pays off as the hosts look to play in Benzema, but the Real Madrid man is flagged for offside, correctly.
  • 10'
Both teams have settled into this one well and are moving the ball about in impressive fashion.
  • 8'
Matuidi intercepts Lahm's pass and gets it to Benzema, whose first touch is heavy and lets Gundogan challenge him. Bright start to this one so far!
  • 6'
What a chance! Germany should be goal up as Muller plays in Ozil, who takes a touch too many, allowing Lloris to race off his line. The visitors should be ahead!
  • 5'
France appeal for a penalty after a coming together between Benzema and Hummels after a left-wing cross, but the decision goes Germany's way.
  • 4'
What a game so far! Sagna pulls it back to Sissoko, who miscues the ball completely when he should work Adler, and Germany counterattack. Khedira shoots from distance once more, but this time it goes narrowly wide.
  • 3'
This time, Germany attack down the left, and Podolski pulls it back from the byeline to Khedira, whose shot is blocked away.
  • 2'
First burst of quality. Muller picks up the ball on the right and dribbles down the wing, but his cross to Gomez is long.
  • And we're off! Germany win the ball back off France, but Gomez loses it to Koscielny.
  • We're having the national anthems! Kick-off is just minutes away now. What will happen? Will the French extend their unbeaten run against the Germans? Or can Joachim Low's troops start 2013 off with a win? Tweet your predictions to me (@eniskoylu)!
  • So, a few interesting battles there. Ribery facing Lahm on France left, Podolski going up against Koscielny. Should be a great match! Stay tuned!
