Premier League Preview: Everton - Norwich City

The Blues face a tough prospect in Paul Lambert's confident Canaries, as they come into the match on the back of victory over a high-flying Newcastle United side.

David Moyes' side was solid in defeat to Arsenal but will hope to improve on its recent attacking output having failed to net in its last two encounters.

The club is unlikely to have Royston Drenthe back in time for this clash and should continue with a similar side to that which faced the Gunners. Diniyar Bilyaletdinov may drop to the bench in place of the energetic Leon Osman, if the latter recovers from a hamstring problem.

Norwich took the unusual step of fielding two forwards against a makeshift Newcastle backline but should revert to its traditional formation away from home.

That means Grant Holt could drop out leaving Steve Morison as the lone striking outlet.

Elsewhere, Zak Whitbread is likely to drop out of the heart of defense to allow Leon Barnett back into the lineup.
