The Eastern Conference foes will meet at FedEx Field after Spain faces El Salvador in the first half of the double header.D.C. United and the Columbus Crew will have quite the opening act to follow Saturday.
Before the Eastern Conference foes meet at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, world champion Spain will face El Salvador in La Roja's final World Cup tune up.
But once that match is over, the attention will shift to United and the Crew (6:30 p.m. ET, MLS Live) as the clubs try to solidify their positioning ahead of the World Cup break. While this is the final league match for the Crew (4-5-5) until June 28, United (6-4-3) has a midweek trip to face the Montreal Impact before it can put MLS on the back burner.

Columbus will again be without Costa Rica national team defenders Giancarlo Gonzalez and Waylon Francis, while midfielder Wil Trapp is a question mark with an ankle injury. United will be missing suspended midfielders Perry Kitchen and Alex Caskey, with fullback Chris Korb doubtful because of a hamstring ailment.
This is the third meeting of the season between the clubs. Columbus rolled to a 3-0 opening-week victory at RFK Stadium in March before the teams played to a 1-1 draw at Crew Stadium in April.
