  • 90' + 3'
Game over! It's FC Dallas with its first win of the season over New York.
  • 90'
Shea gets in on the break and turns it to the corner to try and kill this match off.
  • 88'
    Yellow Card V. Pálsson
  • 88'
Another foul from New York on Shea and a card handed out. Wasting more time really. But there are still a few minutes left to get that equalizer.
  • 86'
    Substitution Dax McCarty Mehdi Ballouchy
  • 86'
Hartman claims another cross. Red Bulls really pushing.
  • 84'
    Substitution Jair Benítez George John
  • 84'
Miller wins a footrace with Shea. Up and down action in these closing minutes.
  • 82'
Henry's cross has to be claimed by Hartman. Real danger of letting this one get away for Dallas.
  • 80'
There's the goal New York needed. We may be in for a frantic finish. Cooper stings another shot at goal and Hartman palms it over.
  • 78'
    Goal Kenny Cooper
Cooper puts New York back to within one. A nice lobbed shot after being played in by Henry, and it's 2-1.
  • 77'
    Substitution Joel Lindpere V. Pálsson
  • 77'
Henry tries to go it alone rather than serving to the back post. His shot is blocked away. You can see the frustration growing int he Red Bulls team right now.
  • 73'
    Substitution Ricardo Villar Bobby Warshaw
  • 73'
Rodriguez with a layoff to Perez, That really should have been number three for Dallas. Good save, but the big forward has to do better.
  • 70'
Perez certainly offers the type of target Dallas hasn't always had.
  • 68'
    Yellow Card Teemu Tainio
  • 68'
Daniel Hernandez down on the pitch now. Dallas will have a full training room tomorrow.
  • 67'
New York, to its credit, is not laying down. Another corner won here, but the club will have to make one of these chances come off sometime soon to get back in the match.
  • 64'
Kenny Cooper is on the pitch now for New York. That second goal might have been the killer.
  • 63'
    Substitution Dane Richards Kenny Cooper
  • 61'
    Goal Ricardo Villar
Villar puts Dallas up 2-0! Another hit on the break for FCD and this time Perez lays off a great ball to Villar who slots it home. Nothing Meara could do about that.
  • 60'
Another corner won for New York. Henry is dropping off more, picking up the ball deeper, and it seems to be working as far as the Red Bulls having more of the match.
  • 57'
Now it's Villar down on the pitch. Not a good way to start the season for FCD if any of these injuries end up costing significant time.
  • 55'
Henry slips two defenders in the middle of the park. Nothing comes from it but it can be very easy to spot his class whenever he touches the ball, even if the name wasn't famous.
  • 52'
Teemu Tainio has a go after a quick throw. Pulled it wide, and now Dallas is back o the attack, but there's a man down on the pitch. Great save out of Meara though, he's keeping New York in it.
  • 50'
Much better out of New York. Henry holds off Ihemelu and wins a corner, and Perez has to make an acrobatic clearance to get the danger away.
  • 49'
Dallas got off to a fast start this half. New York trying to slow the pace again.
  • 48'
Perez comes up a step shy of getting on the end of a cross.
  • 47'
Shea with a good break down the right, cuts inside and has it knocked away.
  • 46'
Back under way in Frisco. 1-0 FC Dallas as the second half kicks off.
  • Halftime here in Frisco. Dallas up 1-0 on New York. A Zach Loyd goal is all that separates the teams at this point.
  • 45'
Best spell of the game for New York. Dallas has to scramble a series of corners away and then a cross in from the left just missed Richards' head.
  • 44'
New York might get a real look from this free kick. Great spot for Henry to hit from, but he takes it early and the chance is wasted.
  • 40'
Rodriguez takes a crack from a nice Perez layoff. Blocked in front and out for a corner.
  • 38'
    Yellow Card Jair Benítez
  • 38'
Jair Benitez just delivered a nasty shot to Agudelo. Needless as well. Rightly given a yellow card.
  • 37'
Good first half so far for Dallas. New York looks slightly off the pace at times and the biggest chances have all been for the home side.
  • 33'
PEREZ!!! NO! How was that kept out? He was in alone and ripped it right at Meara in the New York goal.
  • 32'
Carlos Rodriquez becomes the first man off the bench for FC Dallas with Castillo taking a knock and having to leave the pitch.
  • 31'
Substitution Fabian Andrés Castillo C. Rodríguez
  • 30'
Richards with a good burst forward for New York. He's been kept in check so far, but there's always a danger of his pace slipping in behind.
  • 29'
Perez just tried a nifty little flick up over a defender's head that didn't come off. Good thought though, and now Dallas has another corner.
  • 25'
Dallas continues to find ways to hit on the break. New York is holding more of the ball and doing well to move forward calmly, but Dallas looks much more dangerous.
  • 21'
Really nice run from Castillo. He turned well at mid field and made a long dash into the box, but lost out at the vital moment. New York's back line is struggling to cope right now.
  • 19'
Give Henry credit for chasing down lost causes here early. He and Agudelo are struggling to get much of the ball to this point.
  • 17'
Dallas' forwards clearly have a lot of freedom to move around. Shea, Villar and Fabian Castillo are popping up all over the place.
  • 15'
Dallas is really taking control of this match right now and New York is being limited to trying to hit on the break.
  • 13'
Henry tries to answer right away. A nice run into the Dallas box that leads to another corner.
  • 11'
    Goal Zach Loyd
And it's 1-0 to the home side!!. The free kick comes in and as it bounces around in the box falls kindly for Zach Loyd to put home. Good shot as well.
  • 10'
Hernandez clears the corner for Dallas and the Hoops got out on the break quickly. Stopped by an ugly foul.
  • 9'
Agudelo and Miller combined well down the left to win New York a corner.
  • 7'
Shea goes for goal, trying to curl a little ball into the corner with his left, but left it high and wide. New York gives it away quickly though and nearly gave up a goal but for a nice save.
  • 5'
    Yellow Card Dax McCarty
Blas Perez with some good early touches for Dallas, and now the first yellow of the match to Dax McCarty.
  • 3'
Dallas finally getting a sustained touch of the ball. Good fast start here.
  • 2'
New York knocking the ball around well early on.
  • 1'
    We're underway here in Frisco.
  • We are drawing near now. The signing is done and the teams are out on the pitch.
  • The sky has cleared and the sun is out for the first time all day, just in time for this game. Looks like conditions might be just about perfect.
  • The last time FC Dallas was at home, and the last time I was in this stadium, was for this very same matchup in the playoffs last season. New York came out on top of that one, with Thierry Henry being tasked with chasing Daniel Hernandez around the pitch. That night there was plenty on the line, but I'm sure the home side will be looking to earn some measure of revenge this afternoon.
