Benito Floro's men were outplayed and outchanced in a match with 27th ranked Czech Republic Friday, falling 2-0 and remaining winless in 2013.

Canada remains winless in 2013.

This after falling to the Czech Republic 2-0 Friday in front of 9,749 in Olomouc in a friendly affair, thanks to goals from Ondřej Čelůstka and Tomas Horava.

It took only three minutes for the home side to strike, as Čelůstka nodded home a free kick from a set-piece, scoring in his first-ever appearance for the Czechs.

Horava sealed the victory with eight minutes to play, capitalizing on a counterattack which was defended poorly by the visitors.

The opening goal scorer nearly added to his tally on 10 minutes, but this time Lars Hirschfeld managed to gather with ease as Čelůstka didn't make the best of connections with his header from a similar set-piece.

Canada's best chance of the opening half came in the 39th minute, as Dwayne De Rosario stepped up to take a penalty he generated just moments previously. Petr Cech came out the better of the pair, however, as he dived to his right to push De Rosario's ball wide of target.

Marek Suchý put Hirschfeld to work again in the 59th minute, cracking a low hard effort on target from the edge of the area, but the 'keeper parried away strongly. Five minutes later, Matěj Vydra also came close, forcing Hirschfeld into yet another fine stop.

Kyle Porter looked clear through in the 69th minute after De Rosario played a ball in behind the back line, but the forward's poor touch allowed Cech to collect comfortably.

Vancouver Whitecaps striker Caleb Clarke, currently on loan with German side FC Augsburg's U-23 side, came on for his debut in the 82nd minute.

Canada plasy away to Slovenia in another international friendly on Tuesday as the Reds seek their first win of the year.
