Colorado came from two goals down to earn a draw with Sporting Kansas City.
Just over a minute into the match Teal Bunbury had Sporting in front with a powerful header from a Seth Sinovic cross.
The forward had his club up two goals before the quarter-hour mark. The second came from long throw that Bunbury managed to get the final touch on and poke home at the back post.
Colorado looked dead in the water until after the break, when Tyrone Marshall cut the lead in half. Martin Rivero whipped in a free kick that Marshall headed home emphatically.
Kosuke Kimura tied matters up on the hour mark. A free kick was pushed wide by SKC goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen, but Conor Casey collected the rebound and put it back across the front of the goal for Kimura to knock in.
