FULL TIME - MARINERS 1-2 SYDNEY - Well they did it the hard way after the Mariners equalised through McGing but Simon popped up at the end to break the home fans' hearts.
90' + 4' It's his first A-League goal since April 2016. Incredible.
90' + 4' Brilliant header from Simon. It was tough to squeeze in but he got there and directed it home. The Sky Blues break their winless period.

90' + 3' GOAL SYDNEY - Matt Simon gets to the back post to head home Retre's deflected cross. Heartbreak for the Mariners.
90' + 2' Redmayne easily catches Hoole's cross.
90' + 2' Hoole to swing in the delivery...
90' + 1' Can either team grab a winner? The Mariners are attacking and have a free kick in a dangerous position.
90' There will be four minutes of added on time.
89' Simon competes for the aerial ball with Kennedy and the ball bounces in but it was definitely a foul by the Sydney FC striker.
87' It's anyones game to win from here. The Mariners are coming hard. Could they be the only team not to lose to Sydney FC this season?
86' Zuvela appears to be struggling with cramp. Is off the pitch getting medical attention.
85' Pain is brought down the area by Zuvela but the Sydney midfielder just got his toe on the ball. So close to a penalty but the correct decision has been given.

83' SUBSTITUTION SYDNEY - Simon is brought on for Bobo. The Brazilian has struggled today.
83' Central Coast deserve that equaliser for the endeavour they have put forward in the last 10 minutes. Sydney failed to close the game and sat back too deep.

Goal
82' GOAL MARINERS - They have got it! McGing taps home at the back post from Buhagiar, who found a pocket of space at the left byline. The home fans are delirious.
81' CHANCE! Hoole finds himself one-on-one with Redmayne on a tight angle but he fires his shot straight at the goalkeeper. They are unlikely to get a better chance.
80' Lachie Wales has made a good impact since coming on. He has a bit of talent.
80' Wales spreads a lovely ball to McGing wide on the right, but the cross that comes in is terrible. Disappointing.
78' The Mariners are starting to get more numbers forward but are yet to create anything of note. Sydney have to be careful though. They haven't killed the game yet.
75' Redmayne makes a strange decision to punch and not catch. The ball falls to Josh Rose, but he lashes an effort on his right foot over the bar. That was poor keeping.
75' Buhagiar finds himself in a dangerous position down the left but he fails to get the cross in.

73' SUBSTITUTION MARINERS - O'Sullivan uses his bench for the last time bringing on Jake McGing for Liam Rose.
72' Ninkovic is offside at the back post when Retre puts the ball in. The Sky Blues are looking to kill the game.
D. Carney
A. Brosque
Sydney
71' SUBSTITUTION SYDNEY - Graham Arnold makes his first sub, bringing on David Carney for Brosque.
68' CHANCE! Buijs slides through a brilliant pass that puts Bobo through on goal but the Brazilian misses the target when one-on-one with the keeper. You would expect him to eat that up. He is definitely lacking confidence.
L. Wales
J. Melling
Central Coast Mariners
67' SUBSTITUTION MARINERS - Wales replaces Melling.
67' Lachlan Wales is warming up to come on with Melling to be withdrawn. An attacking sub by O'Sullivan.
65' Buhagiar plays in a low driving ball which Pain nearly reaches but Wilkinson just gets his foot in to clear. Warning for the Sky Blues. They only lead by a goal...
62' O'Neill is off receiving attention. Good news for Sydney is that he hasn't been withdrawn straight away.
61' O'Neill appears to have hurt his hamstring and is getting medical attention. This could be a big loss with Brillante still on national team duty.
60' Ninkovic pokes through a lovely ball to Brosque but Kennedy just gets out to first to impact the ball. The Mariners are giving the Serbian way too much space.
59' The Sky Blues are making the Mariners cross from deep and with no recognised centre forward, it's going to be hard for the home side to win a duel in their box.
57' Ninkovic weights a wonderful pass beyond Liam Rose to Bobo, who strikes on his left foot but it's blocked by his opponent for a corner.
55' The Mariners main mode of attack is dumping balls over the Sky Blue defence and hoping their pacy attackers can run on to it. You would think Sydney are too organised to let that mode of attack be effective.
54' Buhagair and Redmayne are in a race for the ball. The Mariners player gets there first, Redmayne slides but Buhagiar keeps his feet and it's a goal kick. That might have been a penalty if Buhagiar had of gone down.
53' Zuvela has been quite impressive alongside O'Neill in midfield. Looks to be a neat, tidy player.
52' The Mariners lacked creativity in the first half and you can imagine that it will be even harder to unlock Sydney's defence without De Silva.
51' Rain falling here in Gosford.
50' Hoole gives away the ball to Brosque in midfield, who threads Mierzejewski down the right. The Pole eventually runs into trouble. Wilkshire gets the ball on the left but his cross goes directly out for a goal kick.
48' Buhagiar springs clear but is flagged for offside. He executes a lovely lob into the net over Redmayne. Shame it won't count.
47' It's only a minor tweak for De Silva so hopefully he won't miss too much action.
T. Buhagiar
D. De Silva
Central Coast Mariners
46' SUBSTITUTION MARINERS - De Silva has been withdrawn with a hamstring injury and has been replaced by Trent Buhagiar.
45' SECOND HALF - The ball has been kicked off and we are underway.
HALF TIME - MARINERS 0-1 SYDNEY - Ninkovic's header separates the two teams in a fairly dour first half.
45' + 2' The man has been taken from the field and the game is back underway.
45' + 2' There is a pitch invader! Security is trying to apprehend.
45' + 1' There will be two minutes added on for the half.
43' The Mariners are starting to have a go just before half time.
40' Hoole has a pop from the free kick and it hits the wall before De Silva launches his follow-up shot over the bar.
37' Brama is currently getting medical attention. He may not be able to continue.
35' The Mariners are still sitting off despite going a goal behind. Hopefully they will come out and have a crack soon.
33' A rare headed goal for Ninkovic. Although he did score a header in Sydney's last A-League match. The balance of play says the Sky Blues are rightly in front.
Goal
32' GOAL SYDNEY - Retre plays in a lovely cross from the right wing and Ninkovic gets goal-side of Baro to head past Kennedy. Mariners 0-1 Sydney.
32' While the Mariners have been defensively solid, they haven't even come close to troubling the Sky Blue defence.
28' Mierzejewski has a go on the volley from 25 yards but it skews off his right boot and is well wide of the post.
26' Mierzejewski looks to put Bobo over the top behind Liam Rose, but the Brazilian goes slightly early and is flagged for offside.
25' Ninkovic is starting to find space out on the left. He fires in a great cross to the back post by Kye Rowles gets their ahead of Mierzejewski.
23' Bobo finds space to get a shot after being slipped through, but his effort is straight at Kennedy and is blocked. Best chance of the game.
21' As soon as I say that, Ninkovic finds Mierzejewski in the area, but his turn and shot is straight into Kennedy's arms.
20' O'Sullivan will be pleased by the start from his team. They haven't look troubled by the league leaders what so ever.
17' Not a huge amount happening in this match so far. Both teams are getting numbers back.

Yellow Card
Central Coast Mariners
15' YELLOW CARD - Alan Baro goes into the book for bringing down Brosque as he looked to spring clear. It's his eighth booking of the season and he will miss the next match.
14' Brosque lays it off to O'Neill, whose spearing shot on his left is driven wide of the right post. He is dangerous from that range but not this time.
12' Hoole brings down the ball brilliantly but his shot from long range strikes Connor Pain, who was running across the edge of the area.
11' The Mariners are starting to work their way into the game. It's very congested in midfield still.
8' Instead of shooting, he crosses and finds Baro's head in the penalty area. Unfortunately he can't direct his shot anywhere near the goal.
8' Hoole is shaping up to shoot from a free kick from about 35 yards.
7' Retre slips Brosque in behind. The veteran attacks the right-side of the penalty area but he can't square for Mierzejewski with the cross being blocked.
5' Sydney haven't lost three matches in a row since the 2013-14 A-League season. It's going to be a tough ask for the Mariners today.
5' Young Sydney FC midfielder Chris Zuvela is making his A-League debut in place of Josh Brillante, who is on Socceroos duty.
3' The Sky Blues are looking to get their foot on the ball early and grab control of the match.
1' Today the Mariners will be coached by academy leader Wayne O'Sullivan after the dismissal of Paul Okon during the week.
1' FIRST HALF - The ball has been kicked off and we are underway.
Join me for kickoff in approximately 30 minutes.
