That's all for tonight. Thank you for following the LIVE action of the Spanish Copa del Ray - hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time, have a very good evening!
Neither side could find the breakthrough in the first leg of this Copa del Ray quarter-final. It will be settled once and for all in the second leg at Vicente Calderon next Wednesday.
FULL TIME: CELTA VIGO 0-0 ATLETICO MADRID
90' + 4' The referee blows his final whistle and it is honours even at Balaidos.
F. Orellana
Yellow Card
Celta de Vigo
90' + 3' Yellow card Fabián Ariel Orellana Valenzuela
Borja Fernández
D. Wass
Celta de Vigo
90' + 3' The final change of the night sees Wass go off to be replaced by Borja Fernández.
90' + 2' It looks like it is going to be a stalemate in the first leg, which will be more suiting to Atletico. Simeone's men will fancy their chances at the Calderon.
90' Celta are finishing this match on top. We are into three minutes of stoppage time and a goal for them now would stand them in good stead at Vicente Calderon next week.
Hugo Mallo
Planas
Celta de Vigo
88' Another change from Celta sees Planas make way to be replaced by Hugo Mallo for the closing stages.
87' Koke finds some space to try his luck with a bending effort from the edge of the penalty area, but it is just too high and Blanco watches it over the bar.
86' The near own goal does appear to have sparked Atletico into life. They are looking a lot more lively and will be keen to edge their noses in front ahead of the second leg.
84' That is arguably the closest we have been to a goal this evening. Full marks to Gabi, though, as he showed great reactions to make up the ground and prevent a bizarre own goal from Fernandez.
82' ALMOST AN OWN GOAL! Guidetti's long ball is inadvertently poked past his own keeper by Fernandez, but Gabi is alert and able to make a very important clearance off the line.
T. Partey
A. Griezmann
Atlético Madrid
80' Atletico's final change of the night sees Griezmann make way following a disappointing evening by his standards. Thomas Partey comes on in his place.
77' The hosts have another opportunity to pump the ball into the box from a free kick. Once again, Atletico remain solid and deal with the situation very well.
75' WHAT A CHANCE! Atletico put a neat move together and the cross from the left is inviting for Correa, who is unable to keep his header down from inside the six-yard box. Simeone cannot believe his side are not in front.
C. Beauvue
Iago Aspas
Celta de Vigo
74' Celta make their first change and Claudio Beauvue comes on for his debut following his move from Lyon. Aspas makes way for the new signing.
72' Correa bursts into life as he receives the ball on the edge of the area. He surges into the area but his shot is tame and easily gathered by Blanco.
71' Wass gets in behind Jesus Gamez down the left flank and sits up a decent cross, but Moya commands his area well to collect the ball from out of the air.
69' The ball falls to Aspas in the area, but there are Atletico bodies in the way and he can only send his shot wide of the target.
68' Fernandez concedes a free kick in a good area for Celta. It is 40 yards from goal and both centre halves are forward for this one...
L. Vietto
Y. Carrasco
Atlético Madrid
66' Simeone makes another change as he looks to inspire a breakthrough for Atletico. Luciano Vietto comes on in place of Carrasco.
63' Celta are certainly asking questions of Atletico going forward but, given the fact that their opponents have conceded just once in their last five games, they should look to show a bit more creativity in the final third.
61' Celta go onto the attack as play restarts and Aspas lets fly from just outside the area. There is plenty of venom behind his shot but it is straight at Moya.
Á. Correa
J. Martínez
Atlético Madrid
60' The change is made and Correa is introduced into the action, while Martinez makes way following a quiet evening by his standards.
58' Simeone thinks he has the solution to the dilemma as he tells Angel Correa to get stripped off ready to come on. It will be interesting to see who makes way for him.
56' The game is in need of an injection back to life as it has gone very dull over the last few minutes. Possession is being conceded very cheaply and neither side are offering too much going forward.
54' Carrasco looks to threaten Celta on the counter attack as he bursts down the left flank. The home defence cover the situation well, however, and snuff out the danger.
52' Barcelona are also in cup action this evening and are currently 2-0 up at Athletic Bilbao thanks to goals from Neymar and Munir.
50' Celta look to respond with a neat spell of possession of their own. They need to ask questions of the Atletico defence in this second half.
48' CLOSE! Atletico make a bright start to the second half and Martinez goes close to breaking the deadlock, as his bending left-footed effort drifts just wide of the far post.
46' KICK OFF! The referee blows his whistle and Atletico get the ball rolling once again.
The teams are back out and the second half is about to start.
Simeone will be encouraging his players to control things in the second half. They have not created much for a side that have scored eight goals in their last three games without reply.
Celta have arguably been the better of the two sides in the first half. They have enjoyed more possession and been more threatening going forward. It has taken stubborn defending to stop them going in front, but they will be hoping to make their pressure tell after the break.
HALF TIME: CELTA VIGO 0-0 ATLETICO MADRID
45' + 1' Celta are awarded a last-gasp free kick but nothing comes of it and the referee swiftly blows for half time.
44' We are into the final minute of what has been a decent first half at Balaidos. There should not be too much stoppage time before the break.
42' It looks like both sides are keen for the half-time whistle. Celta appear to have taken their feet off the gas a little, but need to be wary with Atletico's quality.
40' Atletico are looking to finish the half in a strong manner as they start to enjoy more of the ball. Simeone will be keen to get his players in for half time, now.
38' Koke stands over the free kick and plays it short for Gabi to strike. His effort is always rising, however, and flies out for a goal kick.
37' Atletico have a free kick 25 yards from goal after Filipe Luis' surging run is brought to an end by a combination of Hernandez and Castro. This would be against the run of play if they break the deadlock here.
35' We are into the final 10 minutes of the first half and still searching for the opening goal. Celta are still on top overall, but Atletico have the ability to click in a split second.
33' There is a slight break in play as Martinez stays down after landing awkwardly following a challenge with Hernandez. He gets gingerly to his feet, but should be OK to continue.
31' They are applying good pressure on Atletico, but need to turn it into a goal. It has taken stubborn defending to stop them so far, but they need to make their dominance tell.
29' Celta are looking to progress to the semi-finals for the first time since the 2000/01 season, when they reached the final before losing 3-1 to Real Zaragoza. They can be pleased with themselves so far this evening.
27' Nothing comes of the free kick but Celta keep the pressure on. They put a neat move together around the area and Aspas splits the defence with a through ball for Jonny Castro, whose cross for Hernandez is just about gathered by Moya.
26' Celta have a free kick in a dangerous position after Savic fouls Hernandez. It is near the left corner of the penalty area and this is a good opportunity for the hosts.
24' Wass lets fly from distance after space opens up in front of him. His effort is on target, but Moya is able to gather the ball easily enough.
22' Atletico are slowly starting to find their feet in this contest once again. They have reached the semi-finals in three of the last four seasons in this competition and will be hopeful of making it four in five.
J. Martínez
Yellow Card
Atlético Madrid
20' Martinez is the first player to have his name taken this evening, after catching Cabral in the face with a trailing arm.
18' Aspas is incensed as his appeal for a free kick falls on the deaf ears of the referee. He appeared to be on the receiving end of a late challenge as he pulled his foot back to shoot, but a goal kick is the verdict of the official.
16' Atletico have lost a little bit of their early momentum over the last few minutes. They are struggling to maintain possession and will be wary of Celta's threat.
13' STAT ATTACK: Celta have not enjoyed the best of times against Atletico in recent years. They have won just one of their last nine meetings!
11' They survive an slmighty let-off, however, as Atletico get in behind their defence. The ball fizzes between two attacking players, though, and Celta deal with it this time around.
9' The hosts have enjoyed the majority of possession over the past couple of minutes and should look to make the most of this against a strong Atletico.
7' GOOD SAVE! Celta get in behind the Atletico defence as Aspas and Guidetti play a neat one-two, but Moya shows great reflexes to beat the subsequent shot away.
6' After being on the back foot in the early stages of this game, Celta finally enjoy a decent spell with the ball and use the opportunity to knock it around and settle into their rhythm.
4' CHANCE! Filipe Luis runs onto Carrasco's neat through ball and delivers an inviting cross for a stretching Martinez, but he only succeeds in sending it high over the bar.
3' Some space opens up in front of Gabi 30 yards from goal. The Atletico skipper tries his luck, but is nowhere near troubling Blanco.
2' Carrasco gets involved immediately and looks for Martinez as he whips the ball into the area. It is just too high for the Colombian striker, though, and goes behind for a goal kick.
1' KICK OFF! The referee blows his whistle and Celta get the match underway.
The teams are out and kick off is just moments away...
