Denied Mitrovic one-on-one in the first half which gave him plenty of confidence going forward.
Contributed well going forward and linked up well with Mkhitaryan on the overlap.
Positioning wasn't great as he seemed too happy to rush out of his central area to nick in a tackle, which created space in behind for Anderlecht to exploit.
Allowed himself to be bullied on a couple of occasions by Mitrovic who was strong with his back to goal.
Seemed a bit too content to just sit back at right-back, even when Dortmund had plenty of the ball.
Controlled the match from midfield and in advanced areas when Dortmund had the ball.
Should have scored tonight but was continually frustrated by the keeper.
Was calm and composed in the middle but was also capable of a penetrating run forward. Set up the opening goal with a marauding dash forward before a slipped pass to Immobile.
Was brighter after the break and had a massive hand in the goal when he collected from deep and passed through the middle for Sahin.
Was full of running down that right wing and got into some good positions without really delivering quality into the box.
Ran the channels well and scored the opener with a cracking finish.
Kept his side in the match and frustrated the home side with numerous saves.
A. Vanden Borre
Had his hands full with the marauding Mkhitaryan and allowed the Armenian to cut inside too many times. However, was excellent going forward and assisted the equaliser with a perfect cross.
Had an excellent start to the match in which his positioning and organisation was important in shutting the home side out.
Seemed to be targeted by Dortmund for runs in behind as he could regularly be found retreating to match Immobile and Mkhitaryan.
Took him a while to go on his first adventure down the left but when he eventually did he was dangerous.
Linked up well with Vanden Borre and got himself into some useful positions down the right flank.
Screened the area in front of the defence solidly for most of the game as Kagawa barely saw any of the ball in between the midfield and attack.
Was anonymous for the first 60 minutes or so but grew into the match as the second half went on and started collecting the ball in his favourite area in between the midfield and attack.
Contributed in both defensive and attacking areas. Attempted to press the Dortmund players when they had the ball.
Missed the best chance of the first half when he ran through on goal only to pass the ball straight at Langerak whilst one-on-one. Held the ball up quite well and introduced others into play, and ended up netting the equaliser with a commanding header.
Didn't offer much beyond running into the channels for the majority of the match but still displayed glimpses of his quality. Just couldn't find that elusive shot or dribble.
