  • Thanks a lot for joining us. Stay tuned to for all the reaction to this tie, and enjoy the rest of your respective days!
  • And that's full-time. Bayern ease past Stuttgart in a southern derby in a typical end of season encounter. Mario Gomez got the ball rolling mid-way through the first half, and Thomas Muller finished things with the last kick of the game.
  • 90' + 2'
    Assist Ivica Olic
  • 90' + 2'
    Goal Thomas Müller
GOAL!!! And that's that. Badstuber charges out of defence and intercepts the ball. He moves forward, feeds Robben, who passes it on to Olic, who checks his run and gives the ball to Muller, who makes no mistake. 2-0. And game over.
  • 90' + 1'
The ball falls kindly to Ibisevic in the box, but he's penalised for shoving over Tymoshchuk. He's bewildered by the decision, but the referee got that spot on.
  • 89'
OFF THE LINE!! Muller is afforded far too much space down the left, and strokes to Robben, who forces a good save from Ulreich. The Stuttgart 'keeper can't gather himself to stop Muller's follow up, but Sakai is there to block it off the line.
  • 88'
Great play by Stuttgart, followed up by another wasteful final ball. Molinaro plays a one-two with Gentner, but his eventual cross is plucked out of the air by Butt.
  • 86'
Cacau tries to dig the ball goal-wards, but it strikes his own man, who stops it from becoming an equaliser.
  • 84'
Traore cuts inside from the right and blasts it goal-wards. Butt comfortably punches it behind, though.
  • 82'
Robben is gifted the ball in midfield, and tries to release Olic, but the ball is some distance behind its intended target. Kind of sums up the second half.
  • 79'
    SubstitutionMartin Harnik Ibrahima Traore
  • 79'
Schweinsteiger feeds Olic on the edge of the box, and the Croatian skips inside his marker, and curls a left-footed effort past Ulreich's outstretched hand, but also past the post.
  • 77'
    Yellow Card Rafinha
  • 77'
Rafinha picks up a booking for felling the onrushing Ibisevic. His seventh of the season...
  • 77'
Alaba's initial corner is put behind, and his second effort is easily cleared.
  • 76'
Contento receives the ball in the area, but Niedermeier shepherds him out and Bayern win a corner.
  • 74'
    SubstitutionDanijel Pranjic Arjen Robben
  • 74'
And Robben is indeed coming on for Pranjic. I'd expect Alaba to push back, then.
  • 72'
Pjanic moves into the penalty area, and tries to cross it, but it harmlessly drifts out of play. He goes down, indicating that he won't be able to continue, and Arjen Robben is readying himself.
  • 70'
Just 20 minutes to go. Leverkusen are currently drawing, so Stuttgart would remain in fifth. But I'm sure they'd rather not leave it until the last day of the season to confirm fifth place. No sign of a breakthrough now, though.
  • 66'
Some lovely play fro the hosts. Gustavo and Alaba combine well to set Olic free, but he dawdles on the ball and Sakai gets across to make the tackle. The OIic of old would buried that.
  • 64'
    SubstitutionShinji Okazaki Julian Schieber
  • 64'
As Stuttgart try to breathe some life into this encounter, Julian Schieber has come on for Okazaki, who hit the bar, but did little else.
  • 62'
Olic charges down the right, cuts back onto his left foot and tries to chip it to Muller, but it's a poorly-placed cross and it drifts away harmlessly.
  • 61'
Alaba digs in a ball from the left which drifts harmlessly across the face of goal. Any touch would have taken it in, but no Bayern player seemed to want it enough.
  • 59'
Harnik chips a ball into the Bayern box, but Rafinha keeps up his composure and calmly chests it back Butt. Nice and easy.
  • 57'
Alaba drives the ball across from the left, but all the Bayern players get in each other's way, and the chance is lost.
  • 56'
    SubstitutionTakashi Usami Bastian Schweinsteiger
Contento picks the ball up just outside the box and pushed ever-wider, and is eventually fouled by Maza. Meanwhile Schweinsteiger has come on for Usami.
  • 54'
A rather sedate start to the first half so far. However, when I said that about the first half, there was a flurry of chances soon after.
  • 52'
Usami, who has shown a couple of good touches in an otherwise quiet encounter, comes inside and shoots, but it's a tame effort and is easily blocked.
  • 50'
ALABA!! Olic sprays the ball into the Austrian, who drives from the edge of the box, but it goes narrowly wide.
  • 48'
The cavalry are warming up - Robben, Schweinsteiger and Lahm. We'll only see two of them though.
  • 46'
    SubstitutionWilliam Kvist Jörgensen Cacau
  • 46'
    SubstitutionM. Gómez David Alaba
  • 46'
And we're back! Can Stuttgart nick a draw, or even a win? Or will Bayern hold on, despite their weakened team. Stay tuned...
  • 46'
A couple of half-time changes. For Bayern, Alaba is coming on for Gomez, and for Stuttgart, Cacau is coming on for Kvist.
  • Incidentally, if things remain the way they are, Schalke will be guaranteed third place, and Koln will be definitely involved in the relegation play-off.
  • And that's half-time. It's been a drab affair at times, but not one without chances. Mario Gomez's strike separates the sides, but Stuttgart should have scored at least once - they've certainly had the chances, and have hit the bar twice.
  • 45'
Stuttgart have had more than enough chances to get themselves back on terms here. Once again they break down the left, and Molinaro pulls it back, Ibisevic lets it slide to Hajnal, who fails to get a toe to it.
  • 43'
    Yellow Card Georg Niedermeier
  • 43'
Bayern break down the left, with Olic involved yet again, but the Croatian's cross is too far ahead of any of his team-mates and the chance slips.
  • 41'
Olic, who is playing his last Bundesliga game at the Allianz arena as a Bayern player, finds himself clear, but drives a left-footed effort against Ulreich's legs. He could have done better there...
  • 39'
Stuttgart will feel hard done by having struck the bar twice, but you can't afford to miss open goals, as Christian Gentner did there. Suicidal.
  • 36'
HOW DID HE MISS!! Hajnal tickles a ball in a box, and Ozakai heads it against the bar. The ball breaks to Gentner, who somehow heads it over with the goal gaping. Awful, awful miss.
  • 35'
Harnik wriggles clear in the box, but Badstuber gets back and almost puts the ball past his own keeper, but Butt sticks out an arm to pad it away. The Stuttgart fans appeal that it was a back past, but it was pretty inadvertent.
  • 32'
    Assist Thomas Müller
  • 32'
    Goal M. Gómez
GOAL!! A horrendous bit of defending lets Muller in, and the 22-year-old resists the urge to go it alone and feeds Mario Gomez for an easy finish. 1-0 to Bayern, and Gomez gets a goal against his former club. Again.
  • 31'
Pranjic lets fly from distance and Ulreich punches it away. The Stuttgart 'keeper seems surprised to be called into action...
  • 30'
Oh dear. The ball breaks to Gomez, who is well-stationed on the edge of the box, but he drags his volley well over the bar. He's fairly frustrated with himself, but still has the guile to appeal for a corner when it clearly came off him last.
  • 28'
Okazaki tries to reach a loose ball down the left, but it runs out of play for a Butt goal kick.
  • 25'
Contento drives down the left and crosses, but yet again it's too close to Ulreich, who makes another easy save.
  • 25'
This really has been an end of season encounter so far. Let's hope it perks up.
  • 22'
A fortuitous bounce gives Olic possession in midfield. He bounds forward and crosses it left-footed, but it's a tame cross which Ulreich seizes easily.
  • 22'
Bayern swing in a corner, which is far too close to Ulreich. Gomez flings himself into the net, but doesn't take the ball with him. A fairly comical moment ...
  • 20'
Stuttgart seem to settling into a steady stream of possession, but there's no real cutting edge to it. Bayern aren't unduly threatened.
  • 18'
After a bright opening from both teams, this one's fizzled out a little bit int he last few minutes. Neither side seems to really have any impetus at the moment, and give the ball away sloppily when in good positions.
  • 15'
Usami does brilliantly to keep the ball in down the right, and Bayern move goal-wards, but give the ball away sloppily. Poor play there, they could have done far better.
  • 13'
Stuttgart advance with intent, but as they look to release Hajnal down the right, he's flagged offside. By quite some distance.
  • 11'
A rather unhappy Mario Gomez is penalised for tripping up Kvist. And with good reason. It looked as though there was minimal contact.
  • 10'
Hajnal takes a dig from distance, but it's far too close to Butt, who gets behind the shot easily. Stuttgart will have to produce better than that to get past Bayern.
  • 8'
Usami makes a break down the right and centres the ball threateningly, but his compatriot, Sakai, scrambles it clear.
  • 6'
And now it's Bayern's turn to go on the attack. Muller spreads the ball out wide to Olic, who crosses from the left, but it's scrambled away by the Stuttgart back line. Promising start for both teams.
  • 5'
OFF THE BAR!! Stuttgart work a corner short of Molinaro, who tickles a ball into Niedermeier, who sends a short-range header against the crossbar. He should have done far better there. A bit of a let off for Bayern.
  • 4'
An early sight of goal for Bayern. Gomez loses his marker, and drives a right-footed effort in from the edge of the box which goes narrowly over the bar. So close to a goal against his old club!
  • 2'
Barely over a minute in, Rafinha is dispossessed. Okazaki gets a cross in, but it's harmless and Bayern deal with it easily.
  • 1'
    And we're off!
  • Sakai takes a throw-in, and darts forward to try and reach Hajnal's ball back to him. However, it's over-hit and Contento is able to shepherd the ball out for a goal kick.
  • The teams are out, and we're just seconds away from all of the action - don't go anywhere!
  • So. We're just 10 minutes away from kick-off. What will happen. Bayern's interest in the Bundesliga will be greatly diminished by this point, but having won so spectacularly against Real Madrid in midweek, will they buoyed onto victory against Stuttgart? Will Stuttgart ease past their weakened opponents? You can send your thoughts, predictions, anecdotes to me on Twitter (@eniskoylu). I look forward to hearing from you all ...
  • Stuttgart: Ulreich; Sakai, Maza, Niedermeier, Molinaro; Kvist, Gentner; Harnik, Hajnal, Okazaki; Ibisevic
  • Bayern Munich: Butt; Rafinha, Tymoshchuk, Badstuber, Contento; Pranjic, Gustavo; Usami, Muller, Olic; Gomez
  • Stuttgart have been in remarkable form of late, and will be confident of inflicting a rare loss on Jupp Heynckes' men, who have named a weakened team after their midweek heroics in Madrid. Full line-ups to follow...
  • Good afternoon! Welcome to's coverage of the Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena. The Bavarians will be playing on home soil for the last time before next month's Champions League final.
