M. Götze 74'
And that's me finished. A pleasure as always, catch you for the next time.
A game that really came alive in the dying minutes, and neither side can be too unhappy with a share of the points. Bayern perhaps created a little more, but still have a healthy lead at the top of the Bundesliga to enjoy.
90' + 3'
That's full time, an exhilarating end to this afternoon's activity as Bayern threw everything at the game but could not take the victory. 1-1 in the Allianz Arena.
90' + 1'
Both of today's protagonists will be back in action midweek, Dortmund host Manchester City in the Champions League while Bayern welcome BATE of Belarus to Bavaria.
Weidenfeller comes to the rescue again, saving first from Muller's cross-shot before denying Javi Martinez from the resulting corner.
Elsewhere it's been confirmed that Badstuber has suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament. Awful news for the defender and for Bayern.
Kroos with the chance to wrap this up and..... NOOOOOO!!!! Weidenfeller does brilliantly to deny the goalscorer one-on-one.
We're going to see Mario Gomez for the last 5 minutes, the striker enters for Mandzukic.
Muller and Ribery both break free in the Dortmund box, but are left apopletic to be called back by the linesman's flag.
After 70 rather uninspiring minutes, the game has suddenly come alive for the denouement. Can Dortmund keep up their momentum from the equaliser and nick all three points?
Now it's Bayern's turn to try from the set-piece. Ribery launches the corner, but it's cleared effectively.
A Dortmund corner falls again to Mario in a carbon copy of the goal, but Bayern are awake. Schweinsteiger is immediately on top of the kid to end the threat.
And suddenly we can hear the BVB faithful. A brilliant response from Jurgen Klopp's men.
Goal Mario Götze
GOAL!!!!! Mario Gotze receives the ball from a corner, chests down and releases a missile that flies through a sea of legs and levels the game. A lifeline for Dortmund!
We remind you that if this result remains unchanged Bayern will open up a 14 point lead over Dortmund at the top. It's still early, but the word insurmountable begins to creep into your mind.
Assist Thomas Müller
Goal Toni Kroos
GOAL!!!! Magic stuff from Toni Kroos, who turns his marker inside out before driving home from the edge of the area. Massive goal for Bayern.
Muller is convinced he deserves a penalty after being seemingly barged by Schmelzer going up for Ribery's headed flick. The referee, however, disagrees.
65 minutes in now, and it's hard to recall a difficult save made by either of today's keepers. Very little final product on show from these two star-studded sides.
Bayern have the attacking talents of Gomez, Pizarro, Tymoschuk and Co. on the bench. Could we be seeing a change soon?
But the short kick does not come off for Bayern as they are shepherded out of play. Goal kick.
Ribery forages on the left, and wins the corner.
It's hard to see at this point where the breakthrough will come from. Both teams have done well at nullifying the other when it comes to the final third.
Now Ribery tries to release Alaba on the overlap, but in a rare error his pass goes straight out for a throw.
The kick lands kindly for Schmelzer to release the bomb, but on his left foot the midfielder hits wide.
Neuer fumbles down low under pressure from Reus, and after a brief scramble Dante smashes away for a corner.
And now Bayern threaten through Mandzukic, who strikes well from outside the area but too close to the keeper.
Hummels!!! Dortmund catch out their rivals with a quick free kick down the middle, but the defender miscues and wastes a great chance.
Lewandowski steals in front of the Roten defence and heads wide from a free kick, but the offside flag was rightly up.
Reus arrows a dangerous cross into the area and it's Thomas Muller right back who heads away and saves his team.
Schmelzer tries to thread the ball into the box, but Boateng reacts well and hoofs back up field.
Straight from the kick-off Bayern burst forward, and Muller volleys miles over the crossbar in an early warning.
And Bayern get us going again, so far the draw will suit them more than the away team.
The teams are wandering back on the field, we'll be back in action any minute soon.
45' + 2'
And that's the whistle. Half time at the Allianz Arena and the game is still poised at 0-0. We're going to take a short break, and we'll be back for the next 45 minutes.
Two minutes of injury time to be played here.
Subotic and Mandzukic tangle once again, this time from BVB's corner. The defender is penalised for a shove.
Good save Neuer, who had to parry from Marco Reus after the left winger released a fierce volley from wide out.
Great tackle by Boateng, who stepped in to stop the flying Schmelzer as the midfielder looked ready to advance into the box.
And the striker is now down, he landed with a thud after going up for a header against Subotic.
Mandzukic tries a rather optimistic penalty appeal after Subotic's challenge, but the ref is having none of it.
And that's the end of the game for the defender, who will be replaced by Boateng after that awkward tumble.
Ouch! Badstuber was whacked by the knee of Gotze as he went to ground, and he doesn't look too comfortable there.
The ball falls for Reus on the edge of the box and he lets loose, but there's a big deflection and it balloons up kindly into Neuer's grasp.
Both teams at the moment are struggling to find a little precision and clarity, with plenty of passes going astray. The result is a rather scrappy encounter.
The away side are attempting to pressure a little more in the middle, and it is paying off as they start to enjoy more possession. Still no real chances for either of the German big guns.
Dortmund cannot take advantage though, and we are still deadlocked here.
Lewandowski complains that his shirt is being tugged, the referee agrees and this is a decent free-kick chance.
Better from BVB. Gotze takes the ball and does well before laying off to Bender, who blazes his effort over the bar.
Muller tries desperately to reach the ball on the right, but it's too quick for him and the forward ends up straddling the advertising hoardings. Goal kick Dortmund.
BVB are at the moment playing with eight men behind the ball, they're being pressed back into their own half as Bayern set the tempo.
Well dealt with by Dortmund though, who have been solid in their own penalty area so far.
It's going to be another Roten corner, all Bayern for the moment.
Franck tries to wriggle free on the left, but is denied. The winger exhales and his breath is more than visible, it's a chilly one in Munich.
Kroos flashes a shot past the post from distance, he's looking lively so far.
As we may have expected, a frenetic start to proceedings in Bavaria. Bayern have seen most of the ball, but watch out for Dortmund on the break.
Tenacious stuff from Gotze, he stole in front of Dante chasing a long ball and poked towards goal. Comfortable for Neuer.
Mandzukic is flagged up for a foul in the box, and Dortmund will have a free kick to clear their lines.
Magic play by Bayern. Ribery started the move with a neat turn and cross-field ball, and it was worked to Muller who had the goal in his sights. Shot was blocked and it's another corner.
As always, any comments or predictions send them along to our twitter at @Goal_Intl
Ribery takes the ball on the left and flashes a cross dangerously across the area. Schmelzer has no choice but to put behind.
Ooooooh a let-off for Neuer there!! The keeper tried to play the ball out of his own net but was caught - luckily for him the ball deflected kindly and the danger passed.
The Frenchman wins a free kick down by the corner flag, and this is a chance. Again for Franck in the box, but his shot goes wide.
Bayern have started with great intensity, using the flanks and looking to pressure their rivals from the off. Ribery is already seeing a lot of the ball.
And we're off!! Dortmund get us started in Munich, can they down the home side?
The teams are now out on the pitch, a frenzied atmosphere in the Allianz Arena as Bayern look to further extend their grip on the summit against the last champions.
And now BVB... Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer; S. Bender, Gundogan; Blaszczykowski, M. Gotze, Reus; Lewandowski.
We're a few minutes from kick off here, let's look at the teams. Bayern first... Neuer; Lahm, Dante, Badstuber, Alaba; Javi Martinez , Schweinsteiger; T. Müller, Kroos, Ribery; Mandzukic.
It's advantage Bayern so far in the German top flight. Die Roten are seven points clear at the top, and have an 11-point cushion over Dortmund. The visitors, to put it simply, need a win today.
Ladies and gentlemen, hello and welcome to what will surely be an enthralling game between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. My name is Daniel Edwards, and I'll be guiding you through the Bundesliga action this afternoon.
