Could hardly be blamed for the opener as he did his best to block Van Buyten's header, but unfortunately the ball reached Mario Gomez. Was not well positioned for the second goal, but generally did well.
Let Gomez escape for the opener, but generally was solid. Turned a few times by Muller and Gomez in the first half, but improved greatly after the break.
Shown a clean set of heels as Ribery waltzed past him to double Bayern Munich's lead. Was shaky at the back all game and was no threat in the final third.
An abysmal showing as he was left behind by Van Buyten for the opener, and by Ribery for Bayern Munich's second. Was slow to react on a couple of occasions, and struggled with his positioning.
Had no impact in attacking sense, but did very well to limit Muller's efficiency on the flank. Showed great positioning and concentration.
Rose up to the challenge of Lahm and Ribery on the flank, and generally did well. Fought for every ball, and set a few good counterattacks with his crisp passing.
Completed all of his 15 passes, but his pedestrian style was no match for Bayern Munich in the center of the pitch. Looked isolated and virtually had not impact today.
The Japanese had a remarkable game as he put the finishing touch to an energetic performance with a goal. Covered a lot of ground, and impressed with his precise passing and excellent vision. His tackling and running were key for Augsburg in this match.
Caused plenty of trouble for Bayern Munich as he made short work of Rafinha on a lot of occasions. Showed great delivery from set pieces as he provided the assist for Augsburg's only goal of the game.
The midfield enforcer had a rather disappointing game as he failed to recover from a poor start to the match. Was sloppy in possession, and failed to offer much protection to the back four.
The striker had only one chance for the whole game, which he wasted, in what was a disappointing performance. Was isolated from the match and failed to make a difference up front.
Had no chance for Hosogai's strike but showed all his worth in the 83rd, when he denied Kapllani in a one-on-one to save the three points for his team. Commanded his area well and was dominant in the air.
The youngster's inexperience in the center of the pitch showed as he failed to have the calming influence of missing vice-captain Bastian Schweinsteiger. Most importantly, he failed to offer any contribution in defense, but impressed with his crisp passing.
The defender should take the blame for Hosogai's strike as he was caught running without purpose after the ball. Played Kapllani onside for the Albanian's chance late in the game, and generally looked shaky.
D. Van Buyten
Had a major role in the opener, and was generally solid today. Did well to block Molders for the striker's only chance in the first half, and came out on top in most of his challenges.
The Brazilian had a horrible game as his nerves got the better of him on countless occasions. He was ruthless in the tackle but lacked concentration at the back, and was no help in the final third either. Replaced in the second half.
The captain was one of the guilty parties for Hosogai's goal as he was caught in no man's land. Aside from that the defender was solid at the back, and was vibrant going forward.
Distributed the ball well and impressed with his vision. Showed some neat touches and covered a lot of ground. Substituted shortly before the final whistle
The Frenchman had a brilliant first half as he made light work of Augsburg's right flank and defense, and netted a goal. Got nervous after the break and conceded some silly fouls, and his efficiency gradually began to drop as the game progressed.
The Ukrainian had a nightmare of a game as he was sloppy in possession and did not read the play well. A major mistake led to a good chance for Molders in the first half, and on top of that was sent off in the final moments of the game for a wild lunge.
The striker showed great instincts to bag the opener, but his performance went downhill from then on. Showed arrogance on a couple of occasions and could be blamed for wasting a few good chances.
The attacker had limited influence on the game, despite bagging an assist. Found it hard against Verhaegh, and struggled with his final ball all game.
