Had very little to do. Gave ton of effort on all the goals, just couldn't do enough. Not his fault though as his defense let him down.
Was one of the most physical players on the pitch, evident by his two yellow cards, leading to a sending off, although he was a bit unfortunate to see a second caution.
Earned an unwanted assist on Soldado's goal with a nightmare pass. Had some decent tackles but all is forgotten by the grave error and his elbow, which gave away a penalty kick late on.
With Feghouli drifting more towards the middle of the pitch, the defender was caught watching most of the action. Did well to clear out crosses and made a few tackles but was part of a back line that conceded three.
Did not do well to link the defense with the attackers. Saw little of the ball but did contribute with several solid tackles.
The young Spaniard filtered passes forward and helped with moving the ball but never really created anything dangerous. Improved in the second half with his passing but did not test Guaita and was taken off. .
Played one half and was taken off for not doing much of anything, aside from a few passes to De Marcos. A match to forget as Bielsa replaced him, clearly looking for more in attack.
Made little impact. Ran onto a few balls over the top but was marked well by the Valencia defence. Should have done better with the ball at his feet to create chances.
Had a chance in the first half that he shot right at Guaita, and after that, he was not much of a factor, looking slow when making runs. He did not look comfortable.
Cleared cross after cross while shutting down many counterattacks with his awareness and tenacity. The star of the show for the hosts, despite being on the losing side.
The young starlet did not make his usual impact and will be remembered for finding the stand with one shot and insulting Barragan after a tackle.
The young keeper was hardly tested, aside from some crosses from the wing. Did just enough to keep the clean sheet.
The defender did enough to frustrate Muniain throughout, while also providing a few important tackles on the wing. Solid showing.
After a poor display last time out, Dealbert was attentive in this one, going to ground several times to cut off passes, while also getting up the field well at times to help with possession. Good match overall.
With the hosts seeing little of the ball, the French defender was a spectator for the most part. He did head out a few balls inside the box but Bilbao were uncharacteristically subdued.
It's been a few games since Los Che have gotten the most out of him. He has seemed to fade in form a bit and today was no different. No impact with or without the ball, but he wasn't really needed. Only contributed one early, dangerous cross.
Earned an assist for the second goal with a run deep into Bilbao territory and was fouled to give Iraola a second yellow card. It was a pretty eventful night for the Spain international.
The young attacker had a few dazzling runs but will surely be upset to not have done more. Saw plenty of the ball and knew when to get rid of it. Good, but not great.
Taken off in the second half after another bad game. His role seems to decrease each week, and with another lackluster effort, this looks set to continue. He appears to have lost his confidence with the ball and is a step slower than usual.
The former Getafe man was poor on free kicks and corners, but provided a solid enough presence in the center of the pitch, an area which Valencia dominated.
The Turkish midfielder did a great job to stop Susaeta inside the box before a dangerous shot in the second half. Also did well to spread the ball around and control the pace.
The Spain striker was in fine form. He had four chances and finished three, using his awareness on the first one and good placement on the second. The star of the match, he sealed the win, and his hat trick, with a late penalty.

Came on with the hope of containing the visiting attack, but did not have much time to do so. Valencia were in cruise control and that did not change with this sub as Los Che managed to score late on.
- 11 Gabilondo
- 7 David López
Came on at the break but could not record his first league goal of the season. Saw little of the ball and made poor runs.
