One or two decent saves that he would have been expected to stop. Rarely tested in the second half.
Provided a bit of leadership in a team full of youngsters before departing the game late in the second half, with Barca assured of qualification.
Poor for the Alaves goal, as he gave the ball away needlessly. Made amends not long after, though, playing a one-two with Thiago before scoring the equalizer from close range.
A few error-prone moments in the first half, not least his lack of concentration when Alaves opened the scoring. He did solidify somewhat in the second half, though, as the visitors' threat diminished.
Some nervy sequences at the back during the first half when Alaves looked dangerous, but generally held his own after that. His partnership with Song did not always stand on the most sturdy ground, though.
Made a few good defensive plays in the second half to break up some Alaves attacks around the penalty area. Generally solid at the back, doing what he had to to with the minimum of fuss.
Gave a good account of himself in the starting XI, with a series of intelligent moments in advanced positions to link up play for his side. A good facilitator, especially when setting up Adriano's goal.
Jonathan Dos Santos
Showed some of his La Masia training by dovetailing well with his teammates in the opposition half. Not always the most decisive, however, and was substituted.
Surrendered possession a little cheaply on a few occasions, but was not really put to the test once his side had racked up a 3-1 lead. Played the rest of the game in supreme comfort.
Top of the Match
Came alive in the second half, first arrowing home a free kick right out of the top drawer, before instantly finishing off a good run from Tello to put the game to bed.
A big player in his side's second-half dominance, as his speed on the ball and ability to break the offside trap opened up numerous avenues for the hosts. Set up Villa's second goal with a speedy run behind the defense.
Another cog in attack for Barca during the second half.
A late run out off the bench, and managed a few sequences on the ball.
Not much time to see any meaningful action, though he did make one good tackle in the dying embers of the game.
