San Jose Earthquakes 2-2 Swansea City: Lenhart scores twice in last 10 minutes

Three days after Steven Lenhart wig night, the striker scored two goals to ensure a draw with Swansea City.

By Zac Lee Rigg

Goonies never say die, not even in friendlies. The San Jose Earthquakes bounced back to draw 2-2 with Swansea City, with Steven Lenhart notching twice in the final 10 minutes.

In the first half Daniel Graham put the Swans ahead, exploiting a defensive mistake. Chico headed home a Ashley Williams cross on the hour mark to double the lead.

Then Lenhart happened. The frizzy-haired forward scored twice in the final 10 minutes, one-timing a Shea Salinas cutback and heading a Rafael Baca cross to bring the 'Quakes level.

Mehdi Ballouchy made his debut for San Jose in the match.
