The big news from Borussia Dortmund's perspective ahead of Saturday's clash is that Marco Reus will be forced to start on the bench as his old club visit Signal Iduna Park.
His absence will allow Mario Gotze to step into the No. 10 role, with Jakub 'Kuba' Blaszczykowski and Kevin Grosskreutz either side of him, with Ivan Perisic also dropping to the bench. Elsewhere, Sven Bender is expected to step into the midfield alongside Sebastian Kehl, at the expense of Moritz Leitner.
Patrick Owomoyela remains a long-term absentee, but is slowly regaining fitness.
Meanwhile, Borussia Monchengladbach will be without the services of Martin Stranzl, who received a straight red card for a professional foul during the match against Hamburg on Wednesday. Roel Brouwers will come into the defense for the Austrian.
Elsewhere, Patrick Herrmann limped out of the draw with Thorsten Fink's side after a heavy challenge, but will be fit to take his place on the right wing. Luuk de Jong will continue up front, despite a difficult start to his task of replacing Marco Reus.
