Live Commentary

  • Thank you for joining us on for todays live match coverage and be sure to stick around for all the post-match reaction from all of Sunday's Premier League games. Until next time, I bid you farewell.
  • If that's the shape Moyes is going to leave Everton in he can be a very, very proud man. Although you can say West Ham didn't provide the sternest test to his players, they played some captivating football and can look to future with a high level of optimism.
  • 90' + 4'
And that is full time. David Moyes crowns his Goodison Park farewell with a routine win over West Ham.
  • 90' + 3'
    SubstitutionKevin Mirallas Bryan Oviedo
  • 90' + 3'
Cries of 'SHOOT' greet the first touch of Hibbert, who hasn't scored for Everton, despite him being all of 60-yards from goal.
  • 90'
    SubstitutionLeon Osman Tony Hibbert
Two of Everton's longest serving players swap places as Tony Hibbert makes his return from a long injury lay-off to replace Leon Osman. A really nice touch by Moyes.
  • 90'
Three minutes of added time will be played.
  • 86'
Terrific inswinging cross from Jarvis is met by a mighty leap from Carroll, whose header clips the post. A late wake-up call for Everton.
  • 84'
From the resulting free kick Baines' dispatch picks out Fellaini at the far post but the Belgian can't make the most of it.
  • 83'
Good common sense refereeing from Phil Dowd to let Collins off for a clumsy trip on Pienaar just moments after he picked up a yellow card.
  • 81'
    Yellow Card James Collins
  • 81'
More great approach play from Everton down the left presents Osman with a chance to shoot on the edge of the box but Jaaskelainen is equal to his tame strike.
  • 79'
Signs of life from West Ham in the attacking third. Joe Cole works the ball onto his left and brings a smart but routine save out of Howard with a low, curling effort.
  • 78'
If there is one gripe to be made regarding Everton's performance it has to be their corners. Baines again delivers deep towards the far post and onto Collins' head.
  • 74'
West Ham have barely had a sniff at goal in the second half. Sam Allardyce's decision to bring on Cole at the break and shift to a flat 4-4-2 has certainly backfired.
  • 73'
    SubstitutionVictor Anichebe Nikica Jelavic
  • 71'
Another chance bites the dust for Everton as Anichebe sees his diving header loop off his shoulder and bounce out of play.
  • 69'
It's truly backs to the wall stuff for West Ham right now. This time Coleman bursts down the right channel and cuts the ball back to Pienaar only for Collins, again, to throw out a leg and deflect his goalbound effort away to safety.
  • 67'
Jaaskelainen is earning his corn and then some today. Pienaar's ball picks out Osman in the penalty area only for the West Ham keeper to beat away his side-footed effort from point blank range.
  • 64'
    SubstitutionGary O'Neil Mark Noble
  • 63'
It's almost a third for the home side as Anichebe turns in the penalty area and strikes low, only to see Jaaskelainen stick out an arm and perform another wonderful save.
  • 61'
    Yellow Card Kevin Mirallas
  • 61'
It's especially cruel on Collins, who has been left exposed all afternoon yet thwarted Everton on a number of occassions with some intrepid blocks.
  • 60'
    Assist Darron Gibson
  • 60'
    Goal Kevin Mirallas
And that is curtains. Gibson picks out Mirallas' run with a superbly weighted pass and the Belgian cuts inside before seeing his crisp strike deflect off Collins and loop over Jaaskelainen into the top corner.
  • 58'
It's all one-touch from Everton in midfield. Pienaar releases Mirallas this time, who surges past Collins but hurries his shot and blasts wide.
  • 56'
West Ham have wised up to Everton's tactic of playing it into the feet of Anichebe and gobbling up his lay-off's. Now putting two bodies on the cumbersome striker.
  • 55'
    SubstitutionJack Collison Joe Cole
  • 53'
Baines clips a weighted delivery to the far post that finds Pienaar unmarked, but the midfielder can't direct his header towards goal.
  • 50'
Mirallas again the pivot of Everton's attack, knocking the ball into Anichebe, who holds off two West Ham defenders, but gets in the way of his team-mate as he attempts to shoot and sends his effort wide.
  • 48'
Everton immediately settle back into their stride and Baines flashes a dangerous cross in towards Anichebe, who just can't quite make contact at the near post.
  • 46'
    SubstitutionMohamed Diame C. Cole
Carlton Cole, who scored and was sent off against Everton earlier in the season, is on to partner Carroll up front. Diame is hooked off, not that you'd even realise.
  • 45'
We're cooking with gas again at Goodison Park as West Ham get the second half started.
  • Everton have played some scintillating football at times during the first 45 minutes without adding to their early goal. West Ham, well they've been abject and are playing like a team already in holiday mode.
  • 45' + 1'
Half-time and Everton lead at the break courtesy of Mirallas' early strike. David Moyes will be happy with his sides offering in this first period.
  • 45'
    One minute added on.
  • 42'
Collison's cross from the right hits Baines in the arm and falls to Demel in a good crossing position. Unfortunately the assistant referees flag prompts a whistle and the awarding of a free kick from Phil Dowd.
  • 39'
Another courageous block, this time from Nolan, as he puts his body in the way to deny Mirallas' rasping drive from troubling Jaaskelainen.
  • 38'
    Yellow Card Guy Demel
  • 36'
Collins again to West Ham's rescue. Coleman's floated cross picks out Fellaini, unmarked in the penalty area. The Belgian midfielder chests down and pulls the trigger only for Collins to fly in heroically, like a secret service operative taking a bullet for the President, to block.
  • 35'
West Ham go close again, this time Nolan hooking wide from eight-yards after a long throw into the penalty area is nodded down into his path by Carroll.
  • 32'
Brilliant from Collins to prevent Anichebe from turning in the penalty area and then hooking his leg around the Everton forward to hook the ball away as he shaped to shoot.
  • 30'
Finally a shot on goal for West Ham! Standing on the edge of the Everton penalty area Carroll traps a pass from the left flank and drills a low effort towards the far corner that forces Howard to stretch down to his left and palm the ball away.
  • 27'
Finally a lengthy spell of possession for West Ham ends with a panicked Demel hoofing an aimless ball into the gloves of Howard.
  • 24'
What a save! Mirallas skips across the West Ham 18-yard line, evading three or four challenges, and scuffs a shot towards goal that Anichebe instinctively swings a boot at but Jaaskelainen is there to make an excellent block.
  • 23'
Again, another cross is left uncontested with the ball falling to O'Brien, who tries to sweep the ball out to the left flank but ends up belting it out of play.
  • 20'
Blimey this is grim from West Ham. Appear as if they already have both foot on the beach. Everton easily neutralising their forward forages. Carroll cutting a frustrated figure in the final third.
  • 17'
Mirallas' heavy touch carries the ball into the West Ham penalty area, which he chases down and almost profits from some hesitant goalkeeping from Jaaskelainen.
  • 14'
Another flowing Everton move, this time down the right, ends with Coleman's floated cross being cleared. West Ham need to get a grip in midfield if they're to get into this game.
  • 12'
Really wonderful stuff from Everton as they easily break up a West Ham attack and play the ball out of defence. Osman takes up possession in the centre circle and strides forward, skipping past two Hammers bodies, before shooting left-footed straight at Jaaskelainen from 20-yards.
  • 10'
The home side are irresistible right now and West Ham just can't get near them. Anichebe is the latest to take a go close with his low strike skipping wide of the post. This could be a rout.
  • 8'
Everton go close to doubling their lead just minutes after breaking the deadlock. This time its Gibson to try his luck from the edge of the penalty area, but his dipping shot lands on the roof of the net without testing the goalkeeper.
  • 6'
    Assist Steven Pienaar
  • 6'
    Goal Kevin Mirallas
David Moyes couldn't have asked for a more perfect start to his Goodispn finale. Baines starts it off from the left knocking it in-field to Fellaini, who plays to Pienaar. The Everton midfielder then opts to tee up Mirallas to send a low finish past Jaaskelainen.
  • 4'
Collins cuts out a corner from Mirallas from the right earning Everton another flag kick on the opposite side. This one finds Fellaini, whose header falls to Distin but the defender is unable to steer the ball towards goal.
  • 2'
Everton dominant early on and already posing a threat out wide. As ever it's Baines who they look too for inspiration but his whipped cross is prevented from reaching Pienaar.
  • 1'
Everton get proceedings up and underway at a sodden-looking Goodison Park.
  • As ever its Z-Cars that booms out around Goodison as the players trot out of the tunnel. A banner bearing 'In Moyes we trust' adorns one stand as the man himself makes his final trip down the tunnel and out onto the pitch.
  • After 11 years of tireless work to rebuild Everton, all the while operating on a shoestring budget, the curtain prepares to come down for Moyes at Goodison Park. Although silverware continued to frustratingly elude him, he has changed the Toffees for the better, restoring local pride and transforming them into consistent top-six challengers. A legacy to be fiercly proud of.
  • Sam Allardyce, who'll understandably take a backseat today, keeps faith with Andy Carroll in attack. Jack Collison comes in for Ricardo Vaz Te in midfield in the only change from last week's goalless draw with Newcastle.
  • Sadly for club captain Phil Neville a knee injury prevents him from taking part in Moyes' final game at Goodison. What are the chances of him popping up alongside the 50-year-old on the Old Trafford bench next season?
