  • Sunderland have now recorded back-to-back wins and clean sheets. Everton however are two points off of 5th place, with Tottenham having two games in hand over the Toffees.
  • And that's it from me, Matt Davis. A huge day for Sunderland as they overcame Everton to beat them 1-0 at a rocking Stadium of Light, and most importantly go six points clear of the drop zone.

  • David Moyes however makes two changes to his starting line-up. John Heitinga and Leon Osman replace Phil Jagielka and Ross Barkley respectively at in the centre of defence and midfield.
  • Paolo Di Canio makes one change to the side which defeated city rivals Newcastle 3-0, with Jack Colback slotting in at right-back.
