Premier League Preview: Stoke City - Queens Park Rangers
QPR has failed to secure victory in 18 top-flight games away from Loftus Road under Mark Hughes while his side has still not earned a three-point haul so far this season.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis looks likely to start with the same side that lost out to Norwich, with the Potters not suffering any fresh injury problems since that defeat at Carrow Road.
Pulis will, however, be without Rory Delap (hernia), Michael Owen (hamstring) and Marc Wilson (broken leg) for the clash with the relegation threatened West London side at Britannia Stadium.
QPR boss Mark Hughes will be waiting on the fitness of Ji-Sung Park (knee) after he missed Sunday's draw with Reading, and he will be without Fabio (hamstring) and Andrew Johnson (knee).
Stephane M'Bia will be serving the second game of a three-match ban after his dismissal at Arsenal.
| DID YOU KNOW? |
Despite its reputation of being tough, tall and physical, Stoke has actually conceded more goals from headers this season than anyone else in the Premier League.
- Stoke is unbeaten in 11 games at home, winning four and drawing seven. No team has scored more than two goals there in 16 games.
- The Potters haven't beaten QPR since 2007, when they recorded a 3-1 win in the Championship.
- QPR has conceded almost a third of its goals this season in the 30-40 minute period of games. However, the Rs have also scored 25 percent of their Premier League goals in the same period.
- Perhaps one reason why QPR has failed to make a good start is a lack of consistency in selection - it is the only club in the top flight to not have a single player feature in every league game.
- One man fighting hard to get results for QPR, however, is Ryan Nelsen. The defender has made more blocks (15) than anyone else in the Premier League this season.
- A good omen for the Hoops is that they beat Stoke twice last season - both times by a single goal. They prevailed 3-2 at the Britannia Stadium under former boss Neil Warnock, before winning 1-0 in the reverse fixture at Loftus Road in May.
