    Vito Mannone

Left red-faced by Fulham's first two goals. Should have come for the corner in which Berbatov scored and could have tipped Kacaniklic's header wide.

    Bacary Sagna

Was supposed to be marking Berbatov for Fulham's first but went AWOL. Not his finest performance in an Arsenal shirt, but far from the worst on show.

  • Per Mertesacker

    Per Mertesacker

Given the run around by Berbatov for much of the game but in truth couldn't do much about the first and third goals. For the second, his positioning could be called into question.

  • Thomas Vermaelen

    Thomas Vermaelen

Not a man in form and struggled at times to cope as Fulham overloaded his flank in the first half. The second period saw him return the favor though, pushing Dejagah back and his attacking influence helped Arsenal press for a late winner.

  • Laurent Koscielny

    Laurent Koscielny

Looked composed and confident from center back but was never given a moment's rest from Berbatov and Ruiz. Made a fantastic sliding block on the Bulgarian when it looked like he would score.

  • Mikel Arteta

Mikel Arteta Flop of the Match

Latched onto a loose ball in the box and provided the telling cross for Podolski's goal and was neat and tidy in possession. Conceded an avoidable penalty after bundling Ruiz over in the box before watching his last minute penalty saved.

  • Santi Cazorla

    Santi Cazorla

Initiated the second goal and his clever movement bothered Baird and Sidwell. A slippery character but not entirely at his creative best today.

  • Francis Coquelin

    2.50

    Francis Coquelin

Looser in possession than Arteta and less dependable. Got a couple of challenges wrong and though he worked hard was replaced 10 minutes into the second half. Not his best day.

  • Lukas Podolski
    31

    Lukas Podolski

Worked hard and got his reward as he slammed home Arsenal's second. Has made overtures about playing more centrally and his natural tendency to drift inside hindered the home team more than anything. Ran out of puff and was replaced with 15 to go.

  • Olivier Giroud
    99

    Olivier Giroud

Powered his header in from Walcott's corner and looked threatening, briefly. After that, he blazed one over when the pass was the better option and Hangeland largely dominated him until he popped up with Arsenal's third. His initial shot struck the post but he was aware enough to get back into position and nod his second chance home.

  • Theo Walcott
    72

    Theo Walcott

Played from the right and though he wasn't involved as much as he'd like, his contribution was telling. His corner was measured perfectly for Giroud to head home. Unlucky not to curl in Arsenal's third after an electrifying run from the flank before flighting the perfect cross for Giroud's second.

    Aaron Ramsey

Came on for Coquelin on the 57th minute and was immediately booked. Lucky not to get a second for a shirt pull on the halfway line.

  • Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

    Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Arrived late for Podolski to inject further intensity into Arsenal's game.

  • Mark Schwarzer

    3.50

    Mark Schwarzer

Could do nothing about any of the three goals, both scored from no more than six yards out. Made a fine save from Giroud at his near post before saving Arteta's last minute penalty. Otherwise his kicking was good and he was a calming presence.

  • John Arne Riise

    John Arne Riise

Initially looked like he would struggle up against Walcott but grew into the game. That said, the right winger did deliver two assists, one from his flank.

  • Brede Hangeland

    2.50

    Brede Hangeland

The big man wasn't at his domineering best and although he was quick to intercept, Giroud caused him no end of problems in the second period.

  • Chris Baird

    Chris Baird

Couldn't prevent Giroud heading the opener but otherwise kept things simple. Continues to prove he is a valuable member of this Fulham team and not just a cult figure.

  • Aaron Hughes

    Aaron Hughes

Partnered Hangeland well but perhaps could have done more to prevent Podolski's goal.

  • Sascha Riether

    Sascha Riether

Up against his compatriot, Podolski, he looked to be coping well. Caught on his heels for the striker's goal though. Unfortunate to concede a penalty but was relieved to watch Schwarzer save it.

  • Steve Sidwell

    Steve Sidwell

Battled away alongside Baird and was a pest for much of the game. Perhaps lucky not to see a second yellow for a foul on the edge of his own box but Phil Dowd generously let him off.

  • Kieran Richardson

Started well before succumbing to a hamstring injury and being substituted.

  • Ashkan Dejagah

    Ashkan Dejagah

Worked tirelessly on the right flank and had a good go at Vermaelen. Had to do his fair share of defending in the second half but was a threat on the break. Ran out of steam and was replaced by Duff.

  • Dimitar Berbatov

Dimitar Berbatov Top of the Match

The Bulgarian plays the game at his own pace but is a delight to watch. After scoring the first of Fulham's goals, he assisted Kacaniklic, before rolling home the penalty for the away side's third. He was in excellent form and gave the Arsenal defense a torrid time.

  • Bryan Ruiz
    35

    Bryan Ruiz

Not the quickest but technically brilliant and Arsenal afforded the Costa Rican too much time in behind Berbatov. He was allowed to stroke the ball around and he did so with authority. Pounced on Arteta's poor touch to claim possession and then the penalty as he was bundled over.

Substitutions

  • Damien Duff

    Damien Duff

    Late sub for Dejagah.

  • Alexander Kacaniklic

    Alexander Kacaniklic

Came on for Richardson and looked a threat from the left. Didn't see as much of the ball as he would have liked but grasped his opportunity smashing home his header when Berbatov's cross arrived.
